A report from GalaxyClub indicates that this upcoming smartwatch is codenamed “Galaxy Watch 9 Ultra,” which may be referred to as the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, succeeding the original rugged model.
The smartwatch is anticipated to debut in 2026, likely alongside next year’s foldable devices.
The significance of this news lies in the fact that while details about the rumored Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 are limited, it is expected to enhance the strong foundation established by its predecessor.
If it hits the market around July or August 2026, it will enter competition directly with the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
