      The concept is that these newly generated AI ads will integrate with Netflix shows, creating interactive experiences for audiences.

      Ad-free HBO Max is set to become more expensive.

      Price hikes are common in the streaming industry, but HBO Max has kept its monthly fees unchanged since launching in May 2020. However, this will soon change, as the ad-free tier will increase by $1 a month, bringing it to $16 (plus tax), starting on or after February 11. Existing customers will notice the price rise in their first billing cycle after this date, while new subscribers will immediately pay the new rate.

      "This $1 price increase will enable us to continue investing in even more culture-defining programming and enhancing our customer experience for all users,” HBO Max stated in an emailed announcement.
