The first smartphones with the new MediaTek Helio G200
TECNO is preparing to launch a new series of SPARK 40 smartphones, and it will be the first in the world to feature MediaTek's latest 4G processor, the Helio G200. The new chip will be the first to receive the senior representative of the line — the TECNO SPARK 40 Pro+.
The Helio G200 processor is a significant step forward compared to previous generations. It promises more than a 10 percent increase in productivity, which will be especially appreciated by those who are used to active smartphone use - whether it's gaming, working with multiple applications, or just a fast interface.
There are 8 cores inside: two powerful Cortex-A76 and six more energy-efficient Cortex-A55. All this is assembled using a modern 6nm process technology from TSMC, which means high speed while reducing energy consumption. According to AnTuTu's tests, the chip scores about 470,000 points, which is quite a decent result for the middle segment.
Improved graphics and games without brakes
The graphics processor has also been updated. The Mali-G57 now runs at 1.1GHz, which is enough to make games run smoothly and multimedia content look bright and clear. This is especially evident in the SPARK 40 Pro+ model, which uses 1.5K super-resolution technology. The picture on the screen promises to be very detailed, both in games and when watching videos.
Stable communication even with weak signal
The Helio G200 also received a new modem with DCSAR technology, which automatically adjusts to the signal strength, providing stable and fast communication even in low—coverage conditions. This is especially useful for making calls, streaming, or online gaming on the go.
TECNO plans to introduce the SPARK 40 series in the coming weeks. Smartphones will receive a branded design, smart technology and decent performance for their price. The company promises to reveal more details very soon.
