The Galaxy S25 Edge is just 5.8mm thick and weighs 163 grams, making it significantly different from the 7.3mm thickness and 190-gram weight of the Galaxy S25 Plus, which is closely related in terms of specifications. It features the same 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 1-120Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits, but comes in a lighter, more comfortable design.
The device is expected to be sturdy thanks to its titanium frame and IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It also marks the debut of Corning's Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on its screen, while the back is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is available in three colors: Jet Black, Icy Blue, and Titanium Silver. Like the Galaxy S25 Plus, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with 12GB of RAM and options for either 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The full Galaxy AI suite of functionalities is included, similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which means you receive features like Now Brief, Now Bar, and various photo editing tools. It operates on One UI 7 over Android 15, and Samsung has committed to providing updates for seven years, including major OS versions and security patches. A 3,900mAh battery powers the device and can be charged either wirelessly or via a wired connection at 25W.
The vertically stacked camera module lends the Galaxy S25 Edge a unique look, setting it apart from the rest of the S25 series. Samsung took the 200-megapixel main camera from the S25 Ultra and reduced its size by 18% for the S25 Edge, pairing it with a 12MP wide-angle camera. While it lacks a telephoto lens, Samsung asserts that the main camera can capture 2x "optical quality" images, and there is also a 12MP selfie camera on the front.

You can pre-order the Galaxy S25 Edge from May 13, with an official release set for May 30. The pricing is $1,099 or £1,099 for the 256GB model, and $1,199 or £1,199 for the 512GB version. Following its U.S. launch with the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Club in the U.K., allowing S25 Edge purchasers to use 0% financing over 24 months, an upgrade option after 12 months with at least a 50% trade-in value, and 24 months of Samsung Care+ for accident and damage protection.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE could be arriving sooner than expected
Good news for Samsung fans: the Galaxy S25 FE is likely to be released before the end of the year.
