The rear of the Amazon Fire TV Cube becomes quite congested once you start connecting all your devices.
Streaming gadgets are plentiful these days, with numerous plug-and-play options available for under $30. So, what justifies spending nearly $100 on the Amazon Fire TV Cube? The brief answer is enhanced performance and storage capabilities, along with the fact that Amazon's leading streaming device is on sale this week.
For a limited time, you can purchase the Amazon Fire TV Cube for just $95 plus tax, marking a $45 reduction from its original MSRP of $140.
Reasons to consider the Amazon Fire TV Cube
We evaluated the most recent version of the Amazon Fire TV Cube, and reviewer Phil Nickinson commented, “The Amazon Fire TV Cube 2022 doesn’t revolutionize the product, but it does introduce some valuable features.”
The latest Fire TV Cube boasts a redesigned exterior and a convenient HDMI input for video passthrough to your television. It is equipped with an octa-core processor and Wi-Fi 6E support, making it one of the quickest and most future-proof streaming devices available. Amazon asserts that the Cube is twice as fast as its Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which we already found to be impressively fast!
The Fire TV Cube provides access to a vast array of entertainment apps, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, as well as hundreds of free live TV channels, games, and other internet-related features. Additionally, the Fire TV Cube also functions as an Alexa-enabled smart speaker with a microphone and hands-free voice control.
Though we do not know when the Cube's price will increase again, it has fluctuated in recent weeks.

QLED sale: One of the best 43-inch Samsung TVs is available for $600 off
Picture quality is vital for any size television. Even models smaller than 55 inches should offer a bright, vibrant display with good motion performance. Fortunately, well-known brands like Samsung provide various size options for their premium models, such as the QN90D Series. This midrange television was launched in 2024 and remains available brand-new.
This week, the 43-inch version can be purchased for just $900 at select retailers. The regular price is $1,500, resulting in a significant $600 discount. We recommend acting quickly, though.
Amazon’s affordable Fire TV Soundbar is also an additional 25% off today
Your TV’s built-in speakers have limitations. Even top-tier premium televisions, like the LG G4 and Samsung S95D, produce rather mediocre sound. This is why the market for soundbars is thriving. While some audio devices can be as pricey as a new QLED or OLED TV, there are also options that most consumers find more reasonable.
One such option is the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar, a 2.0 system we tested in November 2023. Our audio-visual expert, Simon Cohen, was initially skeptical but was pleasantly surprised by its performance.
Sony’s leading OLED TV for 2024 is available for $600 off today
Sony produces some of the finest televisions in 2025, and we've had the chance to test many of the brand’s mid-range and high-end models. One of our favorites is the Sony Bravia 8 Series, a premier 4K OLED that provides exceptional picture quality. Currently, you can save some money by ordering one:
For a limited time, the 65-inch Sony Bravia 8 Series 4K OLED is on sale for $1,700, down from the original MSRP of $2,300. This is one of the best deals we’ve seen for Sony TVs in a while, so it’s advisable to take advantage of this offer soon if you’re interested.
