OnePlus has recently announced a reduction in the price of its Watch 3.
The device was initially launched at $329.99, but due to what the company described as “current market conditions” in the U.S., the price was raised to $499.99 on April 10.
Now, OnePlus has issued a statement indicating that it has successfully lowered the price back to just above the original figure, now set at $349.99.
The reduction of nearly $150 was made possible by making “recent adjustments to [our] supply chain.”
The company emphasized that this new price will be stable and will not fluctuate in the future.
What about those who already purchased the Watch 3?
If you bought the OnePlus Watch 3 at the higher price, there's good news for you. The company has stated that it will honor those purchases.
If you paid $499.99, OnePlus will refund you the difference, ensuring your purchase price aligns with the new $349.99 level.
The statement specifies: “OnePlus will refund them the difference to their original payment method and will contact them directly through the OnePlus Customer Support team.”
Why did OnePlus revise the price of the Watch 3 once more?
The company provided additional information explaining the change in price and how it was achieved.
OnePlus stated: “This change reflects our commitment to transparency and responsiveness while ensuring the OnePlus Watch 3 is available in the U.S. at a competitive price, despite the ongoing market conditions. We appreciate all our OnePlus users and the OnePlus community for their continued support and understanding.”
Is the OnePlus Watch 3 a good device?
The Digital Trends review of the OnePlus Watch 3 highlighted it as an impressive device, potentially justifying the higher price, receiving a rating of 4.5 out of 5.
Key positives include an excellent design with high-quality materials, outstanding performance, long battery life, and extensive health and fitness features. The watch lost half a star due to being offered in only one size.

Samsung’s One UI 7 update makes the Galaxy S24 Ultra feel refreshed
For several days, I had been checking the Software Update section on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, eagerly anticipating the arrival of One UI 7. Then, on April 10, it became available, and I promptly installed it. Samsung's One UI 7 software on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, running on Android 15, is highly successful, but what is it like on 2024’s flagship Galaxy phone?
Not a significant update?
To my surprise, the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra was relatively small, taking less than three minutes to download and install without any issues. After navigating through a few setup screens—one for Google Gemini and another for the new Galaxy AI features—my phone was up and running shortly after.

Is a $500 OnePlus Watch 3 still worth it? The answer is complex
The price of the OnePlus Watch 3 has suddenly risen to $500, but we reviewed the smartwatch when it was priced at $330. The device hasn’t changed overnight—there are no new features added, nor does it come with a gold bracelet. OnePlus has not explained why the price increased but considering it has only risen in the U.S., it’s reasonable to infer the increase is due to tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, as the OnePlus Watch 3 is manufactured in China. The key question now is whether the OnePlus Watch 3 is worth $500 and if it should still be purchased. The answer is nuanced.
The OnePlus Watch 3 is excellent.

OnePlus 13 users can now experience Android 16
OnePlus 13 users who are eager to try Android 16 can now download Android 16 Beta 2 on their devices, according to an announcement on the official OnePlus Forums. However, the beta is currently not available for OnePlus 13R users.
Whether OnePlus 13 users should download the Android 16 beta is a different matter. As noted by 9to5Google, early versions of OxygenOS, which runs atop Android on OnePlus devices, have not always been compatible with beta releases.
