      Merrimen's next heist is the biggest yet — the Federal Reserve. This heist allows for a potential getaway with a fortune. Big Nick is determined to prevent that escape and prepares his unit for a showdown. Den of Thieves serves as a B-grade version of a classic heist thriller, culminating in a thrilling final act that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

      Extraction (2020)

      Sam Hargrave made his mark as a successful stuntman-turned-director with 2020’s Extraction. Swapping Thor’s Hammer for an assault rifle, Chris Hemsworth stars as Tyler Rake, a former black ops soldier who now works as a mercenary. Tyler is dispatched to Bangladesh to rescue Ovi Mahajan Jr. (Rudhraksh Jaiswal), the abducted son of a drug lord.

      After Tyler successfully retrieves Ovi and reaches the extraction point, he's betrayed and must go on the run with Ovi. Netflix should keep producing these mid-budget action films rather than overspending on $200 million blockbusters. Extraction is a fast-paced thriller packed with relentless action and features one of the best single-take sequences of the decade.

      Land of Bad (2024)

      Land of Bad? More fittingly, Land of Dad. Alright, that pun might not be great. Setting aside the crime comedy aspect, Land of Bad is quintessential Dadcore — a film that caters to middle-aged men. A group of soldiers shooting their way out of the jungle embodies the best elements of Dadcore. Young Sergeant JJ Kinney (Liam Hemsworth) joins Delta Force in the Philippines for an extraction mission.

      Delta Force is tasked with rescuing a CIA spy from captivity. Supporting the Delta Team is Captain Eddie Grimm “Reaper” (Russell Crowe), an Air Force drone pilot. After the Delta Team faces an ambush, JJ finds himself stranded in the jungle, relying on Reaper as his eyes in the sky. The next 48 hours turn into an action-filled struggle in this captivating survival tale.
