NBC is considering a revival of USA's Royal Pains.
Universal Cable Productions
Earlier this year, NBC launched Suits: L.A., a revival of the successful USA Network series Suits, which saw increased popularity on Netflix. Now, NBC aims to revive another USA show, Royal Pains, with the original star Mark Feuerstein set to return.
Royal Pains premiered on USA in 2009, featuring Feuerstein as Henry “Hank” Lawson, a former ER physician in New York who lost his job unjustly. After relocating to the Hamptons with his brother, Hank was recruited to establish his own concierge medical practice for affluent clients. Additionally, he opened a free clinic for those unable to afford necessary healthcare. The show enjoyed eight seasons before wrapping up in 2016.
According to Deadline, Feuerstein has agreed to star in and executive produce the new series, which will take place several years after the original show's ending. Hank is said to be “searching for a new purpose in life” and “about to undertake his biggest project yet.” The original cast included Paulo Costanzo, Reshma Shetty, Jill Flint, Campbell Scott, and Brooke D’Orsay, among others, but Feuerstein is currently the only confirmed returning cast member.
The co-creator of Royal Pains, Andrew Lenchewski, along with writer/director Michael Rauch, will collaborate again on the new series as writers and executive producers. While the original show achieved moderate success on USA, it did not reach the streaming audience of Suits. In fact, Royal Pains is not available for streaming at this time, though that may change if the new show moves forward.
NBC has not yet committed to a second season of Suits: L.A., although some stars from the original series have made a comeback. Another USA series, White Collar, is reportedly being rebooted with most of the main cast returning. This revival currently lacks an attached network or streaming platform.

3 underrated movies to watch in May 2025
April was a standout month for Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan, as their horror film, Sinners, debuted to a remarkable $48 million domestically, topping the box office and outpacing A Minecraft Movie. With positive reviews and strong word of mouth, Sinners could potentially exceed $200 million at the box office, a noteworthy achievement for an original horror film.
May marks the beginning of the summer blockbuster season, starting with Marvel's Thunderbolts. Tom Cruise will be back in theaters with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning three weeks later. These two films are anticipated to dominate the box office in May. However, several smaller films premiering throughout the month may also catch your attention. Our recommendations include a quirky comedy, an action-packed airplane adventure, and a folk horror film.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping casts Joseph Zada in the lead role
Lionsgate has found its leading actor for the upcoming Hunger Games movie. Joseph Zada has been cast in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping as Haymitch Abernathy, the former tribute from District 12, originally portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the first four films.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Zada will portray a younger version of Haymitch in a narrative set during the 50th Hunger Games, 24 years before Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen participated in the contests. Zada's prior work includes Invisible Boys and Total Control in Australia, but he is poised for breakout roles in Netflix's East of Eden and Prime Video's We Were Liars, both scheduled for release in the next two years.
