There has been considerable speculation regarding the Nothing Phone 3, but during an Ask Me Anything session on X, Nothing's CEO confirmed that it will be launched in the third quarter of 2025. Since today isn't April Fool's Day and Carl Pei heads the company, this seems to be a trustworthy source for the announcement. This launch timeframe is in line with previous releases; both the Nothing Phone and Phone 2 were released in July, suggesting that the third model will likely follow suit.
The Nothing Phone 3 will mark the company's third release this year, following the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. Moreover, Nothing has unveiled images of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, featuring a newly redesigned appearance, with more details on this device expected to be revealed on April 28 at its global launch event.
In Pei's AMA, there were also some noteworthy insights. When asked about how Nothing plans to address possible tariffs and rising costs, Pei mentioned that the company is “looking into increasing exports from India.” He revealed that the development time for a product at Nothing can range from nine to 18 months from the original concept, although this timeframe can vary depending on the specific product.
Nothing has not disclosed many specific details about the Phone 3 yet. However, with a July launch anticipated, it is likely that more concrete information, including the chipset and other internal specifications, will emerge soon.
The pricing is also not yet determined. The Nothing Phone 2 was priced at nearly $600, but given the current economic uncertainties and the potential for price hikes due to tariffs, it's plausible that the Nothing Phone 3 could be priced around $700. Despite this, we don’t anticipate a price much higher than that, as there is significant competition above the $800 range, and Nothing has established a strong position in the market.

There's disappointing news for those who pre-ordered a Nothing 3a Pro, expecting delivery next week. According to Android Police, Nothing has communicated to customers that their orders will face delays and will arrive “a little later than expected.” Instead of March 25, the first shipments of the Nothing 3a Pro will now arrive on Tuesday, April 15. Additionally, customers who received an automated email stating their device is shipping should disregard it for the time being. For now, this delay only affects pre-orders made in Europe, specifically for the gray variant, while the black model is expected to ship starting on March 31.
As the release date for the iPhone 17 approaches (anticipated in September 2025), more leaks have surfaced, including a set of dummy units that provide a closer look at the entire lineup, especially the iPhone 17 Air. This particular device has generated significant speculation and rumors, and glimpses of its profile reveal a phone that is even slimmer than anticipated.
The leaks originated from Sonny Dickson, a well-known tipster, who shared the images on X. It’s worth noting that these units are just pieces of metal without any electronics inside, so specifications cannot be determined from the design. However, it does offer a clear view of the profile and an idea of component placement.
