This $1,700 gaming handheld is a delight for Evangelion enthusiasts
The OneXPlayer X1 Pro has returned to the market with a new, anime-inspired design, upgraded features, and an impressively high price. If you haven't seen this handheld before, it resembles a combination of the Microsoft Surface and the Nintendo Switch, with this specific model appearing as if it was born at an anime convention dedicated to Evangelion.
Beyond being a gaming handheld, it also serves as a 2-in-1 PC. A kickstand on the back allows you to prop up the screen, and it comes with a detachable, Evangelion-themed keyboard that you can easily remove. The gamepads on either side of the screen give it an appearance akin to a bug with overly small wings, but they can be taken off and used as a separate gamepad.
Star Wars: Zero Company is an upcoming tactical strategy game set during the Clone Wars
Star Wars: Zero Company is the official title of the much-anticipated turn-based tactics game from Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor, putting players in control of a squad amid the notorious Clone Wars. The news was first revealed earlier today, although specifics are limited. A comprehensive panel is promised for the Star Wars Celebration Japan event. If you are unable to attend (and, let’s be honest, most people can't), the website will update with news after the panel concludes at 4:30 PM JT, which is approximately 3:30 AM ET.
What we do know is that Zero Company will be a single-player game focused on storytelling. There’s a single image featuring "a few members of the elite squad under your command." While the identities of the characters are not fully revealed, we do see an Umbaran, a Mandalorian, a human, a Clone, and a Droid. Interestingly, it appears there is also a Tognath Jedi in the mix.
