      Apple is commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch by designating April 24 as Global Close Your Rings Day. On this day, Apple Watch owners who complete all their Activity rings will be rewarded with an exclusive gift.

      The company announced its plans for this significant milestone in a press release on Monday, urging users to engage in more physical activity throughout the day to close their move, stand, and exercise rings. Participants will receive a special reward created to honor the Activity rings introduced with the first generation of the Apple Watch, as well as the Activity app on the iPhone. By completing all your rings through enjoyable exercises and increasing daily movement, you can earn a limited-edition badge highlighted with gold borders, along with 10 vibrant animated stickers for the Messages app.

      In addition to motivating Apple Watch users to be more active, Apple provided some scientific findings on how its smartwatch has positively impacted health and fitness. The Heart and Movement Study, which involved 140,000 participants, revealed that individuals who consistently close all their activity rings are 48% less likely to have poor sleep quality, 73% less likely to experience elevated resting heart rates, and 57% less likely to report increased stress levels.

      Starting April 24, Apple Watch users can earn the exclusive reward for closing their rings. Additionally, they can obtain a special pin at Apple Store locations worldwide, while supplies last.
