Leaked benchmarks show Nvidia's RTX 5060 Ti, and the results are promising.

If the rumors hold true, Nvidia's RTX 5060 Ti is expected to launch within days, aiming to compete with some of the top graphics cards. Today's leaked benchmark results suggest that the GPU may indeed be on the near horizon, as it appeared in two separate tests, which lifts my spirits regarding the RTX 5060 Ti.
VideoCardz uncovered Geekbench scores for the RTX 5060 Ti, which, although synthetic benchmarks that don't fully illustrate the card's performance in AAA games, provide insights into its specifications and capabilities.
One advantage of Geekbench is its open database, making it a valuable resource for benchmarks prior to official reviews. In this instance, the GPU is identified as the RTX 5060 Ti, featuring 16GB of VRAM. The benchmarking tool also indicates that the card is equipped with 36 compute units (CUs), amounting to 4,608 CUDA cores, which is an increase of 256 cores compared to the RTX 4060 Ti—a subtle difference.
In terms of scores, the performance is looking better than I anticipated. The RTX 5060 Ti achieved 146,234 points in the OpenCL benchmark and 140,147 points in the Vulkan benchmark. VideoCardz compared these scores with AMD’s RX 9070 XT, revealing a 5% higher OpenCL score and a 16% lower Vulkan score.
More significantly, the RTX 5060 Ti demonstrated a 13-14% performance increase over the RTX 4060 Ti, which represents a larger enhancement than what was observed when moving from the RTX 3060 Ti to the RTX 4060 Ti—definitely encouraging news.
When comparing the RTX 4060 Ti with the RTX 5060 Ti, the most substantial advantage will likely be the increase in bandwidth, as the modest rise in CUDA cores may not make a considerable impact. While both cards are reportedly utilizing the same 128-bit bus (which is somewhat limited for a 16GB card), the 5060 Ti is expected to feature GDDR7 memory modules, resulting in a significant performance improvement.
The RTX 5060 Ti is rumored to be more affordable than initially thought, with the 16GB variant expected to be priced at $429. Nvidia is said to be revealing the card on April 15, so we won't have to wait long to see its performance.

Nvidia RTX 50 series owners can unlock free GDDR7 memory speed boost
The popular graphics card monitoring and overclocking application, MSI Afterburner, has released a beta update that allows owners of Nvidia's RTX 50-series GPUs to increase their GDDR7 memory speeds by up to 10%. This enhancement enables data transfer rates to reach up to 36 gigatransfers per second (GT/s), exceeding Nvidia's standard specifications.
The RTX 50-series graphics cards come with GDDR7 memory modules rated between 28GT/s and 32GT/s. However, Nvidia typically sets default data transfer rates slightly lower, at 28GT/s for most models and 30GT/s for the RTX 5080, to ensure stability and longevity. The updated MSI Afterburner now unlocks the capability to go beyond these factory settings, providing enthusiasts with the opportunity to fully utilize their hardware's potential.
Nvidia claims RTX 5000 shipped better than 4000 but gamers are still waiting
Nvidia is attempting to portray its GeForce RTX 5000 series as more impressive to the media by claiming that the latest GPUs are selling better than the previous generation. However, many analysts remain skeptical of this assertion.
PC Mag questioned whether Nvidia has executed a "paper launch" for the RTX 5000 series, indicating that there may not be much product available for consumers. Most of those who currently possess the GPUs, particularly the high-end models like the 5090 and 5080, appear to be reviewers, influencers, and dedicated enthusiasts rather than average gamers, who continue using older generation GPUs at higher rates.
Nvidia’s RTX 5060 might bring the VRAM upgrade gamers need
Nvidia is preparing to expand its lineup of top graphics cards, and initial price leaks have started to surface. Although the company has yet to officially announce the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, someone has spotted these cards listed for sale by a Chinese retailer. The prices are impressive, but there is one spec update I sincerely hope is accurate.
Before delving deeper, a necessary disclaimer: All of this information is currently based on rumors. An anonymous tip was sent to VideoCardz along with a screenshot from the retailer, but we have not been able to verify this independently, so please keep that in mind.
