iRobot
iRobot is one of the leading manufacturers of robotic vacuums, and its product range is set to become even more appealing. A number of new models will be available for pre-order on March 18, all priced under $1,000, making them budget-friendly alternatives to pricier models like the Roomba Combo 10 Max or Roborock Saros 10R, which typically cost around $1,500. This is iRobot's largest product launch ever, involving eight new products aimed at catering to various budgets.
The priciest option is the Roomba Plus 505 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock, priced at $999. It features dual rotating mop pads that extend outward, 70 times greater suction compared to the older Roomba 600 series, and a LiDAR system that enables skillful navigation throughout your home at any time. It appears to be a well-equipped robot that emphasizes automation, boasting a dock capacity for up to 75 days of auto-emptying and four weeks of mop pad cleaning. Additionally, it can automatically adjust settings based on the dirt levels in your home, designed to require minimal user intervention. While it may not introduce groundbreaking features, it aims to deliver solid performance at a competitive price point.
iRobot is also launching the Roomba Plus 405 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock, which has a price of $800. While it eliminates the swinging mopping pad and some other features, it’s a great option for those looking for an effective robot that combines vacuuming and mopping without breaking the bank.
The other products in this range are priced below $500 and cater to budget-conscious consumers who do not require the advanced capabilities of the 505 and 405 models. Here's a complete list of the products and their prices:
- Roomba 105 Vac Robot — $299
- Roomba 105 Vac Robot + AutoEmpty Dock — $449
- Roomba 105 Combo Robot — $319

Narwal introduces a new robot vacuum with an innovative mop-cleaning feature at CES 2025.
Narwal, known for creating some of the most popular robot vacuums, including the premium Narwal Freo Z Ultra with its sleek design and quiet operation, continued its trend of innovation at CES 2025 by unveiling the Narwal Flow — an upcoming robot vacuum featuring a powerful new mopping system.
The Narwal Flow utilizes a novel mopping system called the FlowWash Mopping System, which actively cleans its rolling mopping plate while it cleans the floors.
