Android Headlines
As Apple, Samsung, and OnePlus unveil their first wave of new smartphones for 2025, focus is shifting to Google, which is anticipated to introduce the Pixel 10 series in the coming months. Today, we have the first leaked images of one of these forthcoming devices.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL images have been shared by Android Headlines. This smartphone features a 6.8-inch display and is expected to have a similar design to its predecessor, the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The leaked dimensions suggest that the new model will measure 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5 mm, showing only a 0.1 mm difference in height from the current version.
As with the existing lineup, we expect four models to be unveiled in the upcoming Pixel series: the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google is anticipated to launch a more affordable Pixel 9a next week.
Android Headlines
Details about the Pixel 10 series remain limited, but we do know that each model will be equipped with a Tensor G5 chip and will come with Android 16 pre-installed. A new feature called “Pixel Sense,” which is an on-device Google AI assistant, has also been mentioned.

As mentioned previously, Pixel Sense has been in development for some time. Its primary function allows apps to deliver contextual answers to queries, including those involving personal information. Since all processing occurs on the device itself, this data will not be transmitted to Google’s servers.
Last year, Google unveiled the Pixel 9 series in August. A similar release schedule is expected for the Pixel 10 series, although an earlier debut is also a possibility.
This year has already welcomed significant new smartphones. In addition to the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, the Apple iPhone 16e and Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series have been launched.

Google now offers Pixel warranties comparable to Apple Care+
If you have a habit of dropping your Pixel, Google's latest warranty plan may be ideal for you. Google is providing a two-year, one-time payment Preferred Care plan specifically for Pixel devices, a service that was previously limited to Fitbit devices. Previously, the extended warranty was available only through a monthly payment system.
This new plan is available for the Pixel 7 and newer models, as well as the Pixel tablet and Pixel Watch 2 and 3. Here’s a pricing overview:

Pixel 9a leaks are persistent, as a plastic-backed phone appears in a video
Over the weekend, a video showcasing the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge leaked online. Although it was quickly taken down, some viewers noticed that a Google Pixel 9a device was also featured.
Images taken from the video (via Android Headlines) show a smartphone resembling prior renders of the expected budget device. However, there is a significant difference between the two leaks. While earlier leaks suggested that the new model might have a slightly more premium feel than its predecessors, the latest leak indicates that the device will again feature plastic, similar to the Pixel 8a, and is likely to have a matte finish.

Here’s your first proper look at the Nothing 3a, which is more unique than ever
If you’re searching for a smartphone that stands out, you might want to avoid the iPhone 16e or the Galaxy S25 Ultra. While these new models from Apple and Samsung are sure to be popular and fly off the shelves, their designs are notably similar to previous iterations. Conversely, products from the London-based company Nothing consistently offer a fresh and distinctive design with each release.
We’ve recently learned more about the Nothing (3a) phone, and Wallpaper* got an exclusive first look at the phone set to launch alongside the Nothing (3a) Pro next week. They discovered that the company is always striving for a new aesthetic with each release. As Adam Bates, Nothing’s Global Design Director, states, although the (Nothing) (2a) “got it just right,” the company continues to seek “something fresh and exciting.” Thus, they are always “taking a new approach for each new handset.”
