Anker
After introducing the Solix F3800 in 2024, Anker returns this year with the upgraded Solix F3800 Plus. Designed with sufficient power to support all the electronics and appliances in your home, it appears to be the perfect companion during emergencies and power outages.
Boasting a 6,000-watt AC output, it can operate large appliances such as washers, dryers, and air conditioners, ensuring your home continues to function as expected even when there’s a power outage. The unit has a capacity of 3,840 watt-hours, which can be expanded by connecting up to 12 additional battery packs for an impressive total capacity of 53,760 watt-hours. This means you can adjust your power station to meet various energy demands.
Additionally, it can be combined with the existing Anker Solix Home Power Panel to serve as a complete house backup system, switching to backup power in as little as 30 milliseconds.
The F3800 Plus includes dual 165V solar inputs that can support up to eight 400-watt solar panels. When used in ideal sunny conditions, it can recharge in just 1.5 hours. Moreover, it can simultaneously power your devices while recharging, eliminating any delay between charging its own battery and supplying power to your appliances.
If solar is not feasible, it can also be powered by any 240-volt gas generator using the separate Generator Input Adapter.
Here’s a summary of its key specifications:
- 3,840 watt-hour capacity
- Three USB-C ports
- Two USB-A ports
- One car cigarette lighter port
- Multiple AC outlets
- Generator output: Up to 6,000 watts
- AC input: 1,800 watts
- Solar input: Up to 3,200 watts
The Anker Solix F3800 Plus Portable Power Station is set to launch on March 12. You can preorder it today for $3,199 and receive a complimentary 400-watt solar panel (valued at $899) along with a protective cover ($99).

Upcoming Amazon event invite hints at a new AI-powered Alexa
This week, Amazon distributed invitations for an event led by Amazon Senior Vice President Panos Panay and the Amazon Devices & Services team, scheduled for February 26 in New York City. The invitation received by Digital Trends showcased the recognizable Amazon swoop with "Hi there" prominently displayed and the date at the bottom, all set against a shaded blue background resembling attractive, curved design elements.
While the design suggests a connection to Amazon Alexa, the email didn’t reveal much beyond this speculation. However, The Verge conducted some investigative work and uncovered that there were five different email invitations sent, and when combined, the attractive, curved background spelled out "alexa" in cursive. This greatly reinforces the anticipation surrounding Alexa.
