The Thing and Human Torch are set to make their mark! New costumes for The Thing include the Trench Coat and First Family, while Human Torch features the Negative Zone Gladiator and First Family costumes.
New maps and modes have also been incorporated. Players can now enter the brand-new Convergence map, Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park. An additional 0.5 seconds of grace period will be added at the end of overtime across all modes to better manage situations where games might conclude abruptly due to specific hero abilities or slight misalignments outside the valid range.
In Quick Mode, matchmaking for substitutes will cease just before a quick match concludes. Additionally, loading times at the start of matches have seen improvements.
The new seasonal event Midnight Features II has started, with the first round of the Season 1.5 Twitch Drops event currently ongoing! Players can earn the “Two-in-One” spray and Hela’s “Great Galaxy” emote. A second round, featuring a brand-new costume reward, is expected to arrive mid-season 1.5, so keep an eye out for official announcements regarding exact timings!
Players who purchase the Luxury Battle Pass and claim all rewards can now convert leftover Chrono Tokens for Units at a designated ratio.
In Ranked play, Season 1 is now divided into S1.0 and S1.5, with S1.0 ending on February 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM (UTC+0). Rewards including costumes and the Crest of Honors will be distributed accordingly. In S1.5, players will retain their ranks from the end of S1.0. In this season, Gold Rank costume rewards will include Invisible Woman – Blood Shield and Human Torch – Blood Blaze.
New Crest of Honor rewards for S1.5 will feature unique designs for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, and Top 500. Lastly, a “Hide Own Name (Competitive)” option is now available for players at Diamond III and above. When activated, your real identity will be concealed during the loading screen, hero selection, and match commencement. Opponents won't see your name instantly! After some time in battle, your actual name will reappear.
