Comu, previously known as Comulytic, is advancing this idea with the Action Pro, a compact AI recorder that can convert recorded dialogues into editable presentations, follow-up emails, meeting briefs, documents, and action plans. This device includes a specific AI button that allows users to request these materials via voice commands.

After a conversation is recorded, users can press the AI button and instruct Action Pro to generate material based on it. If requested to create a presentation, Comu will analyze the dialogue, structure the content into an outline, and produce an editable slide deck.

The same process applies to follow-up emails, documents, and action plans. According to Comu, its software can pinpoint decisions, deadlines, and next steps from discussions. Users can also search through previous conversations using the accompanying app.
Basic transcription and summarization services are available for free without needing a subscription. Comu’s free Starter plan includes one real-time translation, three in-depth AI analyses, and 500 Agent Credits each month. These credits are utilized when creating slides, emails, documents, and other content through Comu’s AI features.
The Premium plan is priced at $10 per month when billed annually or $14.99 on a month-to-month basis. It provides unlimited real-time translation, automatic deep analysis, smart file categorization, 5,000 Agent Credits monthly, and access to workflows for generating slides, emails, and documents. The Elite plan is available at $29.99 per month if billed annually, or $39.99 monthly, and increases the Agent Credits allowance to 40,000.

The Action Pro features a six-microphone adaptive array with AI noise reduction and boasts a claimed voice pickup range of up to seven meters. Comu states that the device can record continuously for as long as 70 hours on a single charge and supports real-time transcription and translation in over 113 languages. It includes a USB-C port for charging, an OLED display, and a built-in magnetic mount that enables it to attach easily to the back of a MagSafe iPhone.

The Comu app also provides speaker-aware playback, AI-generated summaries, smart categorization, and a searchable archive of past conversations. Users must ensure that all recordings adhere to local consent and privacy regulations.
