      According to an APK teardown by Android Authority, the anticipated feature would allow users to create an image in ChatGPT and then select “Add to WhatsApp” from the sharing menu. Instead of sending the image as a standard picture, ChatGPT would format it as a WhatsApp sticker before passing it to the messaging app. This means users could craft personalized reaction stickers, memes, or illustrations from a text prompt and easily add them to their sticker collection.

      The code also implies that this integration is being developed directly within ChatGPT rather than depending on a separate sticker creation app. Currently, making custom WhatsApp stickers typically involves generating an image, optional background removal, saving it locally, and then importing it into a third-party sticker application. This new workflow would simplify the entire process into a single experience.

      This feature appears to be a natural evolution of ChatGPT’s expanding image-generation capabilities.
