      New retailer listings indicate high prices for Samsung's forthcoming foldable devices and Galaxy Watches

      Samsung's upcoming Unpacked event lineup appears to be even pricier than initially anticipated. Earlier leaks hinted at increased prices for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Watch 9 series. A recently deleted page from a Portuguese retailer may have disclosed just how significant the price increases could be in certain areas of Europe.

      Roland Quandt discovered a now-removed overview on PCDiga that listed Samsung's upcoming foldables and watches ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for Wednesday, July 22. The prices are above those that were leaked earlier this month (according to NotebookCheck).

      The foldable prices in Portugal are particularly staggering

      The priciest item from the listing is the 1TB Galaxy Z Fold 8, priced at €2,669. The 256GB variant is marked at €2,069, and the 512GB option is set at €2,269.

      Each configuration reflects a €70 increase over earlier leaked European prices. The anticipated foldable is rumored to feature a wider design centered around a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch internal screen. It may also be positioned below the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and could forego a dedicated telephoto camera.

      The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is listed at €1,349 for the 256GB version and €1,549 for the 512GB model. Both prices are €50 more than previously leaked figures, which indicated potential increases of up to €180 compared to last year's model.

      The Galaxy Watches are in on the price increase too

      For the 40mm Galaxy Watch 9, the price is set at €409.90 without LTE, while the 44mm version is priced at €439.90. Adding cellular connectivity bumps the price by an additional €50.

      Samsung's Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is being listed at €749.90 with LTE included. There are rumors it may come equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear Elite processor and a significantly larger 800mAh battery, which could help justify the higher price tag.

      While these prices are not official, the increased VAT in Portugal complicates direct comparisons. The listings suggest that Samsung's latest foldables and watches will firmly remain in the premium price range. With the Galaxy Unpacked event approaching, we won’t have to wait long for official price confirmations.
