Logitech's Mobi Fold is a compact, foldable mouse designed for those who dislike using trackpads.
Logitech’s Mobi Fold resembles a compact productivity taco.
Laptop trackpads work adequately until you find yourself in a hectic situation. Whether you're editing a spreadsheet in an airport lounge, managing tabs at a café, or attempting to get some work done at a cramped hotel desk, the practicality of a mouse becomes apparent. Logitech addresses this with the launch of the Mobi Fold, its first ultra-portable foldable mouse.
While many individuals do carry small portable mice, numerous people prefer to avoid the extra bulk and just use the trackpad. However, the Logitech Mobi Fold can easily fold flat and be unfolded when needed, making it convenient for transport. Additionally, Logitech designed the mouse to automatically power on upon being opened and shut off when folded.

The Mobi Fold is centered around a folding mechanism that transforms a pocket-sized device into a more conventional mouse shape. According to Logitech, this design decreases muscle strain by 22% compared to using a laptop trackpad, as determined by its ErgoLab testing. The mouse features Adaptive Touch Scrolling, allowing users to switch between precise line-by-line scrolling and quicker navigation through lengthy documents or spreadsheets.
It is also equipped with two customizable buttons on the touch surface that can be assigned shortcuts via the Logi Options+ app. The mouse connects to up to three devices via Bluetooth and is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux. Furthermore, Logitech claims it is the company’s first input device to receive Fast Pair certification for speedy pairing with compatible Google devices.
Tailored for professionals on the move
Logitech is specifically targeting individuals who frequently work outside of traditional office or home environments. The company discovered that while 72% of professionals possess a mouse, only 26% utilize one when working in public areas. Logitech attributes this discrepancy to issues of bulk and convenience.
The Mobi Fold aims to address these concerns with its lightweight construction, quiet clicks, and a dust-resistant silicone sleeve. It also boasts a longevity rating of 15 years with daily use. Its battery life appears suitable for travel, with just one minute of charging providing up to 22 hours of use, and a full charge lasting as long as 30 days.
The standard Logitech Mobi Fold is priced at $79.99, CAD $119.99, €79.99, or £69.99. It comes in Graphite, with Lilac and Off-White available in specific markets. There is also a Mobi Fold for Business, priced at $89.99, CAD $129.99, €84.99, or £74.99, which includes a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver, Sync support for IT monitoring, and a two-year limited hardware warranty.

McDonald’s is testing a new AI drive-thru system that must demonstrate its ability to cater to hungry customers.
After its previous ordering bot became a source of humor, McDonald’s is reintroducing AI in the drive-thru with a new Google-supported system called ArchIQ, or Archy for short. This initiative is launching in five locations as part of the company’s broader technology rollout, with a franchise owner claiming the system has processed over 1 million orders.
The critical number is the one McDonald’s needs to instill trust in customers. Approximately 90% of those orders supposedly required no human assistance. While this sounds promising, it’s not a fresh start. The earlier AI drive-thru initiative backed by IBM ended after some errors made automated ordering a public punchline.
With macOS Golden Gate, users can experience how a touchscreen MacBook would operate.
Despite Windows laptops having integrated touchscreens as a standard feature for high-end devices for some time, Apple has consistently resisted the idea of a touchscreen MacBook. However, changes may be on the horizon. Following years of speculation and reports about Apple potentially embracing touch input on its computers, the latest macOS 27 Golden Gate may finally realize this highly sought-after functionality.
The first beta version of the new macOS has just been released, and users are already experimenting with its features. One notable addition is a new touchscreen functionality when a Mac is wirelessly connected to an iPad using Sidecar. In macOS 26, users had to rely on a mouse or trackpad while utilizing Sidecar.
