      New animated series 'Dealies'

If the cancellation of Scavengers Reign left you disappointed, Netflix has something that may help ease the sting. The streaming giant has formally announced Dealies, a new adult animated workplace comedy set within one of America’s hilariously chaotic big-box stores.

Created by Joe Bennett and Ted Travelstead, the series is anticipated to debut on Netflix in 2027.

Dealies, an adult animated series from the creators of Common Side Effects and Scavenger's Reign, is coming soon to Netflix. The employees at the big-box store DEALIES are experts in the intricate art of commerce, visionaries in business… and occasionally, they actually do some work.… pic.twitter.com/YkIHbqkgh1— Netflix (@netflix) June 3, 2026

      What is Dealies about?

The official description aptly captures the essence of this animated series: “A genius salesperson. A compassionate fighter. A subtle talent. A conjurer of the divine. And the unfortunate individual who employs them. All part of the staff at Dealies, a big-box store. They are skilled at the delicate balance of trade. Visionaries of commerce. And now and then, they actually do some real work.”

It is a 2D animated series that revolves around the daily disorder of what the show refers to as a supernatural superstore, indicating that this will not be a typical workplace sitcom. No specific release date has been announced outside of the 2027 timeframe.

The creative team behind Dealies boasts impressive credentials

Joe Bennett co-created Scavengers Reign, the visually striking sci-fi series that initially aired on HBO Max before moving to Netflix, where it was regrettably not renewed, despite receiving widespread acclaim.

He then went on to create another underappreciated series, Common Side Effects, for Adult Swim. It’s a darkly comedic conspiracy series about two former lab partners escaping from both the DEA and Big Pharma. The show has already been renewed for a second season.

Ted Travelstead previously worked as executive story editor on The Great North and has contributed to several projects with Illumination. Green Street Pictures, co-founded by Bennett, produces Dealies and has been behind all of his significant projects.

With the legacy of Scavengers Reign supporting them and Common Side Effects still thriving, Dealies arrives with notable momentum and high expectations.
