      Marshall has priced the Milton ANC at $229, equipping it with features typically reserved for the premium offerings of Sony and Bose: a replaceable battery, adaptive ANC, LDAC support, and an impressive 80 hours of playtime.

      Marshall is known for designing headphones reminiscent of those found backstage at a rock concert in the 1970s, and the new Milton ANC follows this tradition. Even if we set aesthetics aside, the features packed into these headphones make them compelling at the $229 price point.

      Unveiled on May 19, 2026, the Milton ANC is available for purchase through Marshall’s website. These are the company’s inaugural on-ear headphones to feature adaptive noise cancellation, positioned between the Major V ($149) and the Monitor III ANC ($349) in their product range.

      So, what does the $229 price actually offer?

      The standout feature is an incredible 80 hours of battery life with ANC disabled, and an impressive 50 hours with ANC activated. This far exceeds the battery performance of the AirPods Max, while being less than half the price. Notably, the battery in these headphones is replaceable.

      The Milton ANC utilizes Bluetooth v6.0 with LE Audio and supports LDAC, which is a first for Marshall’s on-ear category (alongside AAC, SBC, and LC3). Moreover, the headphones are compatible with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, allowing you to track them if they get misplaced.

      Additionally, you can use the headphones with a wired USB-C connection, with a USB-C to 3.5mm cable included in the package.

      Adaptive ANC, five-band EQ, and much more

      In contrast to other budget models, the Milton headphones feature adaptive ANC that adjusts in real-time to surrounding noise levels. The headphones also include a transparency mode, a five-band EQ, Marshall’s Soundstage spatial audio, and adaptive loudness.
