      HIVE’s leading product, BeeBlade, is a compact media engine based on Intel’s Smart Display Module (SDM) standard. Instead of needing large external servers and complicated cabling, BeeBlade fits directly into the SDM bay of compatible projectors, direct-view LED displays, and professional screens. This setup results in a significantly reduced infrastructure footprint, fewer external components, and a simplified installation process, leading to lower costs and energy use.

      There are several versions of the platform available. The entry-level Minima supports HD playback, while the mid-range Osmia provides 4K output. The top-tier Nexus, which HIVE claims is the world’s first SDM media engine with 8K60 output and HDMI Genlock, is aimed at high-demand installations. All versions utilize HIVE’s proprietary BeeSync software for frame-accurate synchronization across multiple networked players, which is crucial for immersive environments with numerous projectors that need to operate in unison.

It powered the BBC Earth Experience in Melbourne, employing 49 of the venue's 70 Panasonic projectors running BeeBlade modules to showcase David Attenborough-narrated immersive content across eight rooms. Additionally, the company created a tailored media control system for the National Museum of Qatar, handling approximately 21 billion pixels per second across 112 projectors, and facilitated the Sistine Chapel immersive exhibition by integrating BeeBlade modules into Panasonic projectors, eliminating the need for complicated signal distribution.
