      Amazon is now poised to allow you to mount its art-centric TV on your wall. Following its flashy unveiling at CES earlier this year, the Amazon Ember Artline series is officially available for pre-order.

      Integrating technology into your home decor

      Competing directly with Samsung’s The Frame TV, the Ember Artline is designed to seamlessly blend into your decor. It achieves this with a sleek 1.5-inch profile, a matte display that minimizes reflections, and a magnetic frame system that gives it the appearance of a piece of art rather than a black rectangle on your wall.

      What truly distinguishes the Ember Artline is the absence of any hidden fees. While Samsung requires a subscription for access to its premium gallery content, Amazon includes over 2,000 pieces of complimentary art right from the start. Furthermore, the TV incorporates AI with a new feature that allows users to upload images of their surroundings to receive artwork suggestions that complement their furniture and lighting via Alexa+.

      High-end specifications and competitive pricing

      Internally, the TV features a robust 4K QLED panel with support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It also employs Amazon’s Omnisense technology, which utilizes sensors to automatically activate the Ambient Experience upon entering the room and deactivates it when you leave. Additionally, the TV supports Wi-Fi 6 and operates on the upgraded Fire TV software experience that Amazon unveiled earlier this year, promising faster navigation and up to 30% enhanced performance compared to the previous version.

      Pre-orders are now available in the US and Canada, with the 55-inch model priced at $899 and the 65-inch version at $1,099. The price includes a choice of one of ten magnetic frames, with additional frames available for purchase at $74.99 or $84.99, depending on the size. Shipping is set to start on April 22.
