OnePlus' compact flagship is seemingly gearing up to expand beyond China. The OnePlus 15T has been introduced as the brand’s latest premium “small” powerhouse device, and new rumors suggest that its global counterpart, the OnePlus 15s, could be launching internationally soon.
The OnePlus 15s is rumored to debut in India by the end of Q2 2026 or early Q3, and it is anticipated to be based on the China-exclusive OnePlus 15T. This information comes from tipster Debayan Roy, who indicated that the device might follow a similar strategy as last year, when the China-only OnePlus 13T was later released in India as the OnePlus 13s.
Reasons for the interest in this compact flagship
The OnePlus 15s is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 15T for the global market and will likely include most of its standout features. For reference, the 15T features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, a 165Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a dual 50MP rear camera system complete with a 3.5x periscope lens, and an IP69K rating.
However, the most notable aspect may be its battery. The OnePlus 15T is equipped with a substantial 7,500mAh battery, which supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. This is impressive for a device of this size. For comparison, the Galaxy S26 only has a modest 4,300mAh battery for a similar form factor.
If these features are retained in the OnePlus 15s, it could become one of the more intriguing compact flagships available.

Why the global release remains uncertain
At this point, the potential launch in India is the only confirmed information, and a wider global release is still unconfirmed. The OnePlus 13s was restricted to India and did not make its way to the US or Europe. Additionally, since OnePlus has yet to officially acknowledge the device, doubts about a global release persist. The pricing details also remain speculative, with reports suggesting a possible starting price of around Rs 58,000 (approximately $619) in India, based on the pricing of the 15T in China.
OnePlus likely needs to take an additional step this time to ensure a presence in markets like the US, where genuinely small flagship devices remain somewhat uncommon.
