      At the same time, LG preserves the fundamental strengths of OLED. The G6 holds certifications for both “perfect black” and “perfect color,” ensuring that contrast and accuracy remain strong alongside the advancements in brightness.

      The C6 offers more of this experience than one might anticipate.

      Although the G6 appears superior in specifications, the C6 does not feel like a significant downgrade.

      It operates on the identical Alpha 11 AI processor Gen 3 and incorporates many of the same essential features, such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and LG’s enhanced AI-driven image and audio tools.

      Brightness has improved from previous iterations, even if it does not reach the G6's peak levels. For most viewing situations, the difference is noticeable but not always significant unless you are specifically comparing HDR-heavy content side by side.

      Gaming performance is nearly indistinguishable.

      Here, the separation between the two models nearly disappears.

      Both the G6 and C6 support 4K at 165Hz, along with VRR, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium. Such support aligns them more with high-end gaming monitors rather than typical TVs.

      LG is also emphasizing low input lag and improved motion handling, rendering both models equally suitable for fast-paced gaming. If your focus is gaming, there’s minimal reason to choose one over the other.

      AI features are available on both, not limited to one model.

      Both models share the same processing foundation, which is reflected in their similar feature sets.

      AI Picture Pro provides real-time image optimization, while AI Sound Pro can replicate virtual 11.1.2 surround sound. Additionally, there’s a personalization aspect that adjusts audio and picture settings based on user preferences over time.

      Filmmaker Mode with ambient light adjustment offers another enhancement by modifying the image based on room lighting without compromising accuracy.

      Where the differences become more pronounced.

      The G6 is designed to push OLED technology further, particularly in terms of brightness and overall visual effect. It is also available in larger, premium sizes, reaching up to 97 inches.

      In contrast, the C6 is made to be more adaptable. It begins at a smaller size of 42 inches and is priced to accommodate a broader range of setups, from bedrooms to living rooms.

      So, which model is the better choice?

      For the majority, the C6 serves as the more balanced option. It provides the essential improvements LG is prioritizing this year, including enhanced brightness, updated processing, and robust gaming capabilities, without venturing into flagship price territory.

      The G6 still excels in peak performance, particularly if brightness is a key priority or you're designing a high-end home theater. However, the performance gap between the two isn’t as vast as one might anticipate in everyday scenarios.
