Samsung's new file-sharing feature compatible with iPhone is expected to be available on more Galaxy devices shortly. The company recently added AirDrop support to its new Galaxy S26 flagship models, which was later extended to the latest Galaxy A series.
It seems that Samsung will also be bringing the upgraded Quick Share feature to older flagship models, such as the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
What can we expect from the upcoming update?

A source on X (formerly Twitter) has indicated that the new One UI 8.5 beta for previous generation flagships will include the "Share with Apple devices" option. The tipster also mentioned that this feature is already operational in Samsung's internal ZZD1 test build.
This feature initially appeared in the Quick Share update for the Galaxy S26 lineup, which is being rolled out globally. Details about support for other devices were promised to be revealed later. Although Samsung has yet to officially list the supported older devices, the latest leak appears credible. This update aims to reduce the hassle of sharing photos and files with friends using iPhones, iPads, or Macs.

However, there is a caveat.
On the surface, this seems like excellent news for Samsung users. Nonetheless, there are concerns regarding the rollout. Some users are still not seeing the "Share with Apple devices" option, while others report inconsistent functionality. The rollout appears to be region-based, which may account for the current patchy availability.

Samsung requires more than just a name; it needs a solid mid-range flagship.
New rumors have sparked discussions about another Galaxy Pro flagship phone, which makes sense, albeit not for flattering reasons. Samsung might be adding a fourth Galaxy S27 model next year, with a "Pro" variant anticipated to be positioned just below the top-tier S27 Ultra. This model aims to bridge the gap between the standard and Ultra Galaxy phones by offering high-end features, excluding the S Pen. Some of these premium features might include the new Privacy Display from the S26 Ultra.

Google’s latest Play Store update enhances review navigation.
Users can now search for specific complaints, bugs, or paywalls more efficiently.
Google is implementing a solution for one of the Play Store's most annoying issues: chaotic, hard-to-read app reviews. A new feature allows users to jump directly to the feedback that is most pertinent. Instead of sifting through numerous comments, users can now enter specific terms to find relevant experiences instantly. This is a minor adjustment, but it addresses a significant trust gap in how apps are assessed before downloading.
