Thanks to its modest dimensions and weight, the monitor is easy to transport alongside a laptop, and the availability of power via USB-C simplifies connectivity.
Compact body and light weight
The thickness of the Acer PM161QB1 body is only 10 mm, and its weight is 700 grams. Such parameters allow the device to fit into a bag or backpack without burdening the luggage. Visually, the monitor complements modern ultrabooks and does not take up much space on the desk.
Screen based on IPS matrix
The monitor features an IPS panel with a diagonal of 15.6 inches and a standard aspect ratio of 16:9. The resolution is 1920 by 1080 pixels. IPS technology provides viewing angles of up to 178 degrees, preserving color reproduction when viewed from the side. The claimed brightness level reaches 250 nits, which is sufficient for indoor work. The response time is 4 ms (GtG), and the refresh rate is 60 Hz. Support for AMD FreeSync is designed to reduce frame tearing during the playback of dynamic scenes.
Connection and power supply
The device is equipped with two USB-C ports, through which video signal transmission and power supply are possible. This allows the monitor to be used with a compatible laptop or tablet without the need for a separate power adapter. There is also an HDMI 1.4 input for connecting other devices, such as gaming consoles. For audio output, there are built-in stereo speakers with a power of 1 watt each and a standard 3.5 mm audio output.
