YouTube Music can now create a personalized playlist based on your thoughts.

Certainly, AI is involved here. It’s not surprising that you need an active subscription to YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium.

Getting tasks accomplished by merely describing them has become the latest trend. You can use an iOS app to create and publish it on the App Store with Replit.       Once you access that option, choose the AI playlist and describe your musical mood. You can input your words either via voice or text, and once you submit your description, the AI will generate a tailored playlist in just a few seconds. Unsurprisingly, this feature is behind a paywall, so a YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium subscription is required for access.

This isn’t the first time an AI has been used to enhance streaming music experiences. Spotify offers a tool called Prompted Playlist that enables users to create song collections based on their mood or build upon their listening habits. The app even provides sample prompts designed by music editors and cultural experts to help users kick off their playlists.

If this concept captures your interest, ChatGPT also allows you to link music streaming services (among others) to get tasks accomplished. Officially termed ChatGPT Apps, all it entails is connecting your accounts and then using natural language prompts to assemble a playlist without needing to open the relevant music streaming application.
