A new leak regarding the Galaxy S27 Ultra suggests possible enhancements to its camera features.
Samsung might feature a 200MP main sensor equipped with advanced technology.
Even though Samsung has not yet unveiled the Galaxy S26 series, rumors about its flagship model for 2027 have already begun to emerge. Recently, a report indicated a significant camera upgrade for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, and a new leak has now disclosed additional information regarding its camera configuration.
Reliable leaker Ice Universe has stated that the Galaxy S27 Ultra may include new main, ultrawide, and selfie cameras. While details about the ultrawide and selfie cameras remain undisclosed, the informant has revealed that the device might incorporate a new Samsung ISOCELL sensor with the model number S5KHP6, presumably named the ISOCELL HP6.
Although it will be a 200MP sensor, akin to the ISOCELL HP2 found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it is expected to introduce new technologies that could greatly enhance image quality. As with the previous leak, this new information should be viewed cautiously since the Galaxy S27 series is still over a year away and likely in early development stages.
Currently, the focus is on the Galaxy S26 Ultra
At this time, the attention is centered on the forthcoming Galaxy S26 series, anticipated to launch later this month or in early next month. Speculations suggest that the high-end Galaxy S26 Ultra may feature slight camera enhancements and come with a 200MP main camera that has a wider aperture, along with a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP periscope zoom camera, a 12MP secondary telephoto camera, and a 12MP selfie camera.
The device is expected to introduce noteworthy upgrades, such as a new SoC, quicker charging capabilities, and an innovative privacy feature that obscures the screen from side angles to protect against onlookers. On the software front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may offer new AI-driven features, including an updated Bixby experience powered by Perplexity, fresh image editing tools, and more.

Samsung’s latest patent suggests a foldable phone that can be flipped either inward or outward.
The concept features a 360-degree hinge and a reversible exterior, appealing to customers interested in new foldable designs, despite the timing still being uncertain.
A Samsung patent for a reversible flip phone discovered on the World Intellectual Property Organization’s website suggests a clamshell design that does not have a distinct "right" side when closed. According to designs noted by XpertPick, Samsung is exploring a reversible front and back aesthetic, allowing either outer side to be displayed.
This is a significant departure from current flip phones, which typically have a clear separation between a cover display side and a simpler rear panel. This design appears to aim to make the folded phone feel cohesive from both sides.
