Digital Trends’ Best Tech of CES 2026 awards: our top selections from the exhibition floor
CES is currently in full swing, with an abundance of technology on display, ranging from stunning TVs to numerous robots, each claiming to provide something unique and exciting (even if some do appear a bit intimidating).
As always, Digital Trends has been actively exploring the venue, accumulating hundreds of thousands of steps while searching for the standout innovations amidst the many “me too” devices introduced each year.
We've also been combing through the countless product announcements flooding our inboxes and the internet, honing in on what truly captures our interest.
Here are the technology offerings that we find to be exciting, innovative, or potentially impactful on how you engage with technology in 2026, highlighting the finest creations at CES 2026.
**LG W6 Wallpaper**
LG / Digital Trends
It’s tough to begin anywhere else – LG’s refresh of its Wallpaper series features an incredibly slim 9mm TV that mounts flush against the wall with only a single power cord protruding. The panel represents LG’s most advanced technology yet, boasting almost no reflection and exceptionally vibrant hues, making it a must-see at the event.
Its price is expected to be in line with the high-end G series, which may mean it won’t be overly cheap, but it could very well turn out to be the priciest TV you ever purchase.
**Samsung Galaxy TriFold**
Samsung / Digital Trends
Getting hands-on with the Galaxy TriFold was a remarkable experience, primarily because it highlighted the shortcomings of our current foldable device.
This 10-inch tablet folds down to a 6-inch smartphone, easily fitting into your pocket. It feels robust, with reassuringly sturdy dual hinges facilitating the folding and unfolding of the internal display.
Equipped with six cameras, it delivers powerful performance and comes with a 5,600mAh battery. Set to launch in the first quarter of 2026, you should definitely check out the TriFold when it becomes available.
**Samsung Timeless Frame**
Samsung / Digital Trends
Samsung’s massive 130-inch Timeless Frame TV is a sight to behold, and it’s not just about picture quality. This TV serves as both a striking home centerpiece and a serious entertainment display.
Its picture quality is indeed exceptional, utilizing Micro RGB technology for stunning visuals and vibrant colors.
This model joins the various sizes announced in December, including 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, 100-inch, and 115-inch variants, but it is the first to feature the Timeless Frame design. Its official price is anticipated to be quite high, but if you have the funds and space, it will be an impressive addition to admire.
**Asus Zenbook A14**
Asus / Digital Trends
The Zenbook A14 feels lighter than a MacBook Air, weighing in at just 2.18 pounds compared to the 2.7 pounds of the M4 MacBook Air, making it half a pound lighter.
Does it really feel different? Yes, it feels almost like a prop: light enough to lift effortlessly, and if it’s powered off, you might struggle to convince someone that it’s a real laptop.
It’s packed with desirable features and power, including a 14-inch OLED display, Snapdragon X2 Elite chipset, and an impressive claim of 28 hours of video playback on a single charge. The MacBook Air should be cautious.
**Pebble Round 2**
Pebble / Digital Trends
The revival of Pebble smartwatches is gaining traction, and following the success of the square Pebble Time 2 and Pebble 2 Duo, we now have a new circular model: the Pebble Round 2.
Pebble watches don’t boast the extensive functionalities of devices like the Apple Watch 11 or Samsung Galaxy Watch 8. Instead, Pebble presents a more understated experience with its color e-paper display, a streamlined set of features, and a vibrant developer community.
Compared to the original Pebble Time Round from 2015, the Round 2 features a larger display and slimmer bezels. You can even select the Nyan Cat watch face (IYKYK).
**Dreo TurboCool Misting Fan 765S**
DREO / Digital Trends
Typically, we wouldn’t consider a fan as a top technology, but there’s something about this Dreo fan that couldn’t be overlooked. At its core, it’s a fan that disperses water to humidify the air and keep you cool. Dreo has been experimenting with droplet sizes and claims to have found the ideal balance between damp enough and not overly cool.
In practice, it performs remarkably well – your skin feels cool with the moisture, yet when you touch it, it’s already dry, giving it a somewhat magical quality.
**LG CLOiD**
LG / Digital Trends
CES is packed with robots, and Cloid is among the most discussed. Although still a prototype, this wheeled humanoid demonstrated laundry tasks
