Alexa+ is set to be integrated into BMW vehicles, Bosch coffee machines, and Oura rings.
Amazon is preparing to take Alexa from your living room to your vehicle and even to your wrist. At CES 2026, the company introduced its next-generation Alexa+ assistant, which will be available on Samsung TVs, BMW vehicles, Bosch appliances, and Oura rings—representing one of the most significant updates to the Alexa ecosystem in years.
On Samsung TVs, Alexa+ will function as a more conversational assistant built into the display. Users will be able to ask more natural follow-up questions, browse apps, control playback, and manage smart home devices without having to navigate through various menus or remotes.
While the current version of Alexa is already present in many smart TVs, Samsung will be the first third-party brand to incorporate Alexa+. The update is set to roll out later this month for select Samsung TVs released between 2021 and 2025, initially limited to Alexa+ Early Access users.
Alexa+ will also extend to vehicles, appliances, and wearables.
The BMW iX3 electric SUV will include Alexa+ as an in-car assistant, capable of handling more complex, multi-step queries while driving. This includes tasks like navigation assistance, music control, and general inquiries, all designed for hands-free operation and contextual awareness from prior dialogues.
For home appliances, Amazon has confirmed Alexa+ integration with Bosch, starting with the 800 Series coffee machines. Users will be able to interact with these machines through conversational voice commands to customize their preferred coffee drinks.
Alexa+ will also be available on Oura rings. With user consent, Alexa+ can access Oura’s health data to assist in managing health through insights on sleep, activity, stress, and heart rate, effectively putting the assistant on your finger and integrating it into daily wellness practices.
Amazon has been progressively enhancing Alexa’s capabilities, from launching it on the web to compete with ChatGPT and Gemini to incorporating conversational AI features for shopping, travel planning, meal preparation, and grocery ordering.
These integrations are transforming Alexa+ into a cross-device AI assistant that remains accessible throughout your day rather than being confined to a single screen or speaker.

The company claims that these chips will be used in over 200 designs from global partners, making the Series 3 "the most widely adopted and globally available AI PC platform Intel has ever launched."
