Realme and Aston Martin will soon show the GT 7 Dream Edition smartphone
Realme has entered into a three—year partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One racing team and is already preparing its first joint product, the GT 7 Dream Edition smartphone. This device will become part of the flagship GT line and will be officially unveiled on May 27 in Paris.
The main difference of the Dream Edition is the appearance inspired by racing aesthetics. The smartphone is made in Aston Martin Green, the case is decorated with a double logo: the branded "wings of the scarab" of Aston Martin and the symbols of Realme. The case has a matte finish to avoid fingerprints.
Processor and performance
The device will receive a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset — it is not yet an announced processor, but according to preliminary leaks, it provides more than 2.45 million points in AnTuTu. This is a record among Android devices at the moment, although specific tests are not yet available.
Battery and charging
The GT 7 Dream Edition will be equipped with a 7000 mAh battery, which is higher than the average for modern smartphones. 120W fast charging is supported. According to the company, up to 50% charge can be obtained in 15 minutes. Reversible charging is also provided — up to 7.5 watts to recharge, for example, headphones.Image: realme Press Office
The device uses a cooling system with a graphene substrate, which reduces the temperature to 6 degrees under load. The smartphone uses a power management chip, which is claimed to increase battery life by three times and significantly reduce heat during charging.
Screen and Games
The device will receive a display with a brightness of up to 6,000 nits, which is one of the highest values on the market. This amount of brightness is useful when using your smartphone outdoors. The refresh rate of the screen is 120 Hz. GT Boost mode is also supported, which stabilizes operation at 120 frames per second in games such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).Image: realme Press Office
Realme and Aston Martin plan to produce two devices per year for the duration of the partnership. It is not yet clear whether the Dream Edition will be sold in a limited edition or will be part of a mass release. The official premiere of the GT 7 Dream Edition will take place on May 27 in France. Probably, at the same time, Realme will announce the cost of the smartphone.
