      **Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015)**

      It’s hard to fathom that Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation was released just a decade ago, marking a pivotal moment in the franchise. Tom Cruise’s character, Ethan Hunt, has gone rogue before, but this time he faces the challenge without the Impossible Mission Force backing him after being labeled a traitor and terrorist. The reality is that Ethan got too close to a covert terrorist group called The Syndicate, which set out to eliminate him.

      Ethan is saved by Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), a Syndicate agent who has been officially disavowed by MI6. Unofficially, she is deep undercover, attempting to dismantle the Syndicate from inside. It’s a precarious situation, with both needing help from each other, making for a partnership fraught with danger.

      **Trust (2010)**

      David Schwimmer, known for Friends, directed Trust, a dark thriller featuring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener as Will and Lynn Cameron. The Camerons’ lives take a tragic turn when their 14-year-old daughter, Annie (Liana Liberato), is lured online by an older man (Chris Henry Coffey), who tricks her into meeting him at a mall and then in a hotel where he assaults her.

      Initially, Annie keeps the incident secret from her parents, believing the man cares for her, but when the truth emerges, Will becomes obsessed with tracking down her attacker. His fixation becomes overwhelming, constantly replaying the event in his mind. The pressure Will places on Annie drives her further into turmoil.

      **Summer of 69 (2025)**

      The title of the new Hulu original movie, Summer of 69, may suggest a retrospective, but the number has a different meaning in this context. This comedy follows the unlikely friendship between a teenager named Abby Flores (Sam Morelos) and a stripper who goes by the name Santa Monica (Chloe Fineman). Abby is infatuated with her friend, Max Warren (Matt Cornett), so she hires Santa Monica to help boost her confidence for pursuing him.

      Santa Monica is fond of Abby, but her assistance comes with a price; she needs the exorbitant fee Abby promised to keep her job at the strip club and to help realize her dream of becoming a co-owner. However, both may find their ambitions disappointingly far from reach.
