Xbox has joined forces with Prince St. Pizza to create a limited-time, Doom-themed pizza baked "in brimstone and fury." Not only is it tasty, but it also rewards gamers with a free skin and one month of Xbox Game Pass with every purchase. Anyone who buys the Hellfire Pepperoni (which is the actual name of the pizza) will receive the exclusive Doom Slayer Skin for a limited time.

As for the pizza itself, make sure to have a drink nearby. It’s as spicy as if you were breathing in hellfire, featuring smoked mozzarella, pepperoni, fresh habaneros, a drizzle of hot honey, and Prince St. Pizza's unique spicy marinara. Those who love spicy food will feel right at home with this offering, but it will only be available from May 12 to June 15 at any Prince St. Pizza location.

Unfortunately, the chain isn't as widespread as one might hope — locations are limited to New York, Miami, California, and Toronto.

"We were thrilled to collaborate with DOOM: The Dark Ages," says Lawrence Longo, CEO of Prince St. Pizza. “It’s one of the most iconic video game franchises — intense, extravagant, and unapologetic — with a fanbase that continually shows up. That enthusiasm encouraged us to bring the heat with bold flavors, a big attitude, and a touch of chaos — in the best way possible. We had a lot of fun creating a pizza deserving of the DOOM universe, and we anticipate fans will love what we’ve made.”

Besides the in-game perks, the pizza is served in a special limited-edition box, and fans can visit the Prince St. Pizza website for exclusive Doom: The Dark Ages x Prince St. Pizza t-shirts.

Doom: The Dark Ages serves as a prequel to Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, capturing the same relentless energy as its predecessors. It is set for release on May 15 on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.

**4 Major Predictions for the Future of Video Games in 2025**

Well, 2024 is officially behind us — and that's a relief. The past year has been an emotional roller coaster, marked by a series of unprecedented events. Although the video game industry wasn't as chaotic as the American political scene, it experienced its own whirlwind of events. Mass layoffs left countless individuals jobless, anticipated games failed to meet expectations, and incidents of harassment increased. Amid these challenges, we had a surprisingly strong year with unpredictable titles like Balatro and Black Myth: Wukong.

This makes forecasting 2025 challenging. We experienced both the highs and lows of the industry last year, and it’s uncertain where things will stand by December 2025. Will the industry stabilize, allowing for a year with fewer layoffs and more exceptional games? Or will it continue to decline, leading to more studio closures and high-profile failures?

      I made 5 predictions for June’s gaming showcases. Here’s how I did.

At the beginning of June, I shared what I hoped to see announced in the upcoming showcases from the video game industry. Now that the reveal-filled events, including Summer Game Fest, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and Ubisoft, have wrapped up, I’m reflecting on my predictions. To my surprise, I had a notably high success rate. Some leaks proved accurate while one optimistic prediction actually came true. Now, with the major summer showcases behind us, I’m taking a moment to assess my predictions to see how correct or incorrect I was. While I nailed three of my picks, I missed the mark on two significant ones.

The return of Metroid Prime 4: Accurate

I was hopeful that summer would finally showcase Metroid Prime 4; fortunately, it did. To close the latest Nintendo Direct, Retro Studios unveiled our first look at Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The brief yet packed reveal trailer lived up to my expectations, confirming the title and release window while also providing a glimpse of gameplay. This initial look suggests Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be one of the most graphically stunning games on the Nintendo Switch to date.

Following the 2016 reboot, Doom has reasserted itself as the leading title in fast, hardcore, brutal, and purely enjoyable first-person shooters. We received a sequel in 2020 that stands out as one of the best Xbox Series X games, along with two DLC chapters; now, it’s time to explore the origins. Doom: The Dark Ages will introduce a new chapter in the Doom saga within a setting we haven't seen before. While locations and weapons may change, the objective of annihilating demons
