The announcement of another Prime Day isn't surprising, as Amazon reported that last year's event was its most successful yet. Here’s everything you need to know to get ready for another successful Prime Day.
When is Prime Day 2025?
The specific dates for Prime Day 2025 have not been revealed yet. If Amazon follows the trend from 2024, we can expect the official dates to be announced in late June. Prime Day 2024 occurred on July 16 and 17, with those dates confirmed on June 25. Since 2021, every Prime Day has taken place in late June or July.

Do you need to be a Prime member to access Prime Day deals?
Not necessarily. While Amazon does offer exclusive deals for Prime members, non-members may miss out on some discounts, particularly on Amazon's own products like Kindles, Echoes, and Fire TVs.
However, any seller on Amazon can choose to be part of Prime Day. They just need to lower their prices during the event. Expect to find Prime Day deals on TVs, laptops, smart home devices, and more from various brands.
Additionally, other retailers will offer competition alongside Prime Day. Best Buy and Walmart, both of which have their own membership programs similar to Prime, typically hold sales during the same period as Prime Day.
