Building on the success of this unit, EcoFlow has officially introduced the Wave 3 — an advanced portable AC unit — along with the Glacier Classic — an electric cooler. These new devices significantly enhance their predecessors, offering a practical way to stay cool during exciting summer outings for both you and your drinks.
The EcoFlow Wave 3 is an upgrade from the Wave 2, designed with over two years of user feedback. This portable unit is capable of both cooling and heating spaces and can reportedly reduce temperatures in small areas by 15 degrees within just 15 minutes, according to EcoFlow. It boasts 1800W of cooling and 2000W of heating power, and its built-in battery makes it suitable for off-grid use.
The Wave 3 is equipped with a 1024Wh LFP battery, providing up to eight hours of cooling in Eco Mode and a lifespan of 4,000 cycles. The unit is designed to operate autonomously, with an Automatic Mode that alternates between heating and cooling to maintain a steady temperature, while a Dehumidification Mode helps mitigate moisture buildup.
Pet owners will appreciate the Pet Care Mode, which allows the device to turn on when the vehicle temperature exceeds 77 degrees. It will even notify the owner to return to their car.
The Wave 3 supports AC power, solar, and car charging, charging fully in just 75 minutes and utilizing a new refrigerant that is more environmentally friendly, due to reduced CO2 emissions.

Alongside the Wave 3 portable AC unit, EcoFlow introduced the updated Glacier Classic electric cooler. Offered in three sizes (35L, 45L, 55L), its 298Wh battery compartment and design make it up to 40% more space-efficient than standard battery-powered coolers. It can provide up to 43 hours of cooling on a single charge and includes a removable dual-zone divider for better organization of perishables.
The Wave 3 is priced starting at $1,299, while the Glacier Classic begins at $799. Both products are available for purchase on the EcoFlow website.
