Samsung has just revealed the 'official' pricing and storage options for the Galaxy S25 Edge.

Samsung has been quite coy about its upcoming razor-thin phone, first unveiling it during the Unpacked event back in January. Since then, a flood of leaks has emerged, revealing nearly all the details—though primarily unconfirmed—about the Galaxy S25 Edge. Although the Edge was initially scheduled for release in mid-April, its launch has been moved up by a few weeks, with recent rumors suggesting an announcement in Korea on May 13. Just a day after this news, we also learned the Galaxy S25 Edge’s official pricing and storage options, with the information coming directly from Samsung rather than a third-party source.

Samsung’s Canadian website briefly posted the prices for the 256GB and 512GB versions of the Galaxy S25 Edge in a promotion for the recently launched Galaxy S10FE tablets. The webpage was captured by reliable leaker Roland Quandt, showing what could be the official MSRP of the upcoming slim device. Quandt shared the screenshot on Bluesky, a social media platform created to mimic the former Twitter experience before Elon Musk's acquisition and rebranding it to X.

According to the screenshot, the 256GB storage option of the Galaxy S25 Edge is listed at $1,678.99, whereas the 512GB variant is priced at $1,858.99. These prices may seem high, but they are likely in Canadian dollars rather than U.S. dollars. If that assumption holds, the prices convert to approximately U.S. $1,209 and $1,339, based on the current exchange rates.

Even at those prices, the Galaxy S25 Edge is not exactly inexpensive, placing it below the Galaxy S25 Ultra but above the S25 Plus. This isn't particularly surprising, as many rumors had previously indicated a high price point.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is more than just another model in the Galaxy S25 series, despite its name. Besides its thin and lightweight design, Samsung is also expected to equip the phone with an upscale ceramic back and a titanium frame. The slim profile will not prevent Samsung from utilizing an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, similar to the other Galaxy S25 devices. Moreover, it is anticipated to feature a primary camera with a 200MP resolution, matching the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

However, unlike the compact OnePlus 13T that was launched recently with a substantial 6,260mAh battery, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to have a smaller 4000mAh battery. More details about the device should become available in the upcoming weeks as we approach the anticipated launch date in late May.

Here’s why you might not be able to buy a Galaxy S25 Edge right away.

Samsung’s eagerly awaited Galaxy S25 Edge is set to launch soon. However, leaker Ice Universe indicates that the phone will initially be released only in South Korea and China. Teased by Samsung during the MWC Barcelona conference in January, the Galaxy S25 Edge was already expected to have limited availability. A previous report noted that only 40,000 units would be available at launch, while Samsung sold 1 million standard Galaxy S25 units in Korea within the first 21 days of its release. According to a report from SamMobile, though, Samsung is planning to produce up to 3 million Galaxy S25 Edge units, which should facilitate a quicker global rollout.

Google just unveiled its vision for AI, but it’s not yet available to everyone.

Google has officially announced the launch of a powerful Gemini AI feature that allows the intelligence to see. This began in March when Google started demonstrating Gemini Live, but it has now become more widely accessible.

The Galaxy S25 Edge may cost more than you anticipated.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is set to launch on May 13, but the latest leaks suggest that you should start saving money now as its price appears higher than expected. The Italian retailer Zanetti has listed the various models and provided a clearer picture of their costs, which isn't encouraging. The Galaxy S25 Edge could potentially be the second-most expensive model in the entire S25 lineup. According to Zanetti, the 256GB version will retail for 1,362 Euro—approximately $1,494, likely rounded up to $1,500. The 512GB model is even costlier at 1,488 Euro, or $1,632. It’s also important to note that these prices are from European retailers; U.S. prices may be even higher due to recent tariffs.
