Where to locate the 9 missing Gestrals in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

      One of the initial side quests you’ll encounter in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 involves locating all of Sastro’s missing Gestrals. There are a total of nine, and given the vastness of the overworld in this turn-based RPG, tracking them down can prove to be quite challenging.

      Some of these tiny Gestrals are easily visible and can be found along your path as you pursue your goal of defeating the Paintress. However, others may be hidden away and only reachable in the later stages of your game. If you can defeat a Burgeon, you should be capable of finding all the Gestrals, so we’ll guide you through their locations and what rewards you earn for collecting them all.

      **Locations of Lost Gestrals in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33**

      **Gestral 1: Esquie’s Nest**

      The first Gestral you are likely to find is situated right outside Esquie’s Nest, a location you must visit in the main storyline. Upon interacting with him, he will make his way to your camp. You might even come across this Gestral before you meet Sastro, who is seeking all the Gestrals.

      **Gestral 2: Stone Wave Cliffs**

      The next lost Gestral can be located slightly north of the previous one, southeast of the Stone Wave Cliffs. Instead of heading directly to the Stone Wave Cliffs, take the right path, and at the end of it, you will discover a lost Gestral.

      As a note, to access these lost Gestrals from this point forward, you must progress past Act 1 into Act 2. In Act 2, Esquie’s ability allows you to pass through blue rocks, opening up new areas.

      **Gestral 3: White Tree**

      You’ll need to wait until you unlock Esquie’s swimming ability to locate this lost Gestral. It’s concealed on the island with the White Tree, tucked away in a corner of the island.

      **Gestral 4: Monoco Station**

      Not far from Monoco Station, the next lost Gestral awaits. It is positioned between two trees and can easily be overlooked. You cannot access this area until you have traversed the Forgotten Battlefield.

      **Gestral 5: Coastal Cave**

      East of the prior lost Gestral, you will find the next one. It is located on the far side of the Coastal Cave, so swim to the northern section of that island to discover another lost Gestral.

      **Gestral 6: Red Island**

      This lost Gestral is located on a red island to the southwest of Visages Island. Swim to the right side of the island to find the lost Gestral there.

      **Gestral 7: The Reacher**

      You can find the last three lost Gestrals only after reaching Act 3 of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. By this stage, Esquie can fly, so head northeast of The Reacher to a forest area. This lost Gestral can be found behind a fallen log.

      **Gestral 8: Endless Night Sanctuary**

      Fly as Esquie to the eastern side of the map, where a dense red forest marks the area of the Endless Night Sanctuary. The eighth lost Gestral is located near the entrance to this area.

      **Gestral 9: Endless Tower**

      The final lost Gestral is the hardest to locate. This is because this little one is hidden on a small floating island just outside the Endless Tower. Ascend as high as possible until you spot a small floating island. Land on it to find the last lost Gestral.

      **Rewards for Finding the Lost Gestrals**

      For each lost Gestral you discover, you will receive a reward from Sastro. To claim this reward, speak to him at camp every time you find a new lost Gestral. The rewards consist of cosmetics, various special items, and ultimately a useful Pictos.
