Goodbye to battery anxiety? The official battery capacity for the OnePlus 13T has been announced, and it's substantial.

      We are just a few days away from OnePlus’ upcoming launch, where the Chinese company has confirmed that it will introduce the OnePlus 13T. Rumors about this device have been circulating for several months, and although we still lack complete details, OnePlus has confirmed several features of the compact phone.

      The announcement of the OnePlus 13T was made on April Fool’s Day when OnePlus mentioned at the end of a social media post that the device would be unveiled later this month. Since then, the phone has been spotted in various benchmark tests and a leaked marketing video, which showcased it operating on Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

      We have also seen an official image of the device from the back, revealing a design with a square camera module in the upper left corner, flat edges, and three color variants.       Ahead of its reveal on April 24, OnePlus has confirmed another important specification – the battery. It was earlier reported that the battery would exceed 6,000mAh, but through OnePlus' official Weibo account, it has been confirmed that the OnePlus 13T will feature “the world’s first 6,260mAh glacier battery.”

      The glacier battery refers to a new battery technology developed by OnePlus for its smartphones, designed to provide higher energy density, a longer lifespan, and faster charging capabilities. This technology has previously been introduced in the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, although that model had a slightly lower capacity of 6,100mAh.

      While not confirmed for the OnePlus 13T, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro supported 100W fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 1% to 100% in just 36 minutes.
