The release date for Star Wars Outlaw's second DLC trailer was leaked a day ahead of schedule.

      The trailer for the upcoming DLC of Star Wars: Outlaws, titled A Pirate’s Fortune, appears to have been inadvertently released early, revealing a release date of May 15, 2025. While Ubisoft has removed the leaked trailer, fans managed to capture numerous screenshots before it was taken down. Additionally, a demo for Star Wars Outlaws is now available starting today on the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Unfortunately, players should note that saves from the demo will not transfer to the full game if they decide to purchase it later.

      The demo provides approximately three hours of gameplay, showcasing various elements of the game. Since it is not merely the initial hours, the lack of data transfer is understandable.

      Concerning the DLC, if you missed the trailer, there's no need to fret: it will be fully released tomorrow, April 18, during the Star Wars Celebration. This marks the second DLC for Star Wars Outlaws, following the narrative of the first expansion, Wild Card. Players will reunite with Hondo Ohnaka to confront Stinger Tash and the Rokana Raiders.

      The trailer offered little in terms of storyline, but it confirmed that the expansion will introduce additional cosmetic items inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Players can expect a new outfit for Nix, along with various trinkets.

      A Pirate’s Fortune is set to be the final planned DLC for Star Wars Outlaws, and it seems unlikely that Ubisoft will release further content, given their acknowledgment of the game's below-expectation performance. However, Ubisoft has recently announced that Outlaws will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, and there may be console-specific content prepared for that release.

      At the start of Star Wars Outlaws, Kay Vess is not an expert but possesses some skills. She can handle a blaster, hack basic computers, and pick locks, but her abilities are quite limited. Unlike traditional open-world games—especially those from Ubisoft—there are no skill trees or XP bars. Kay can only gain new abilities by encountering special Experts, NPCs that are dispersed throughout the planets. These experts must be located and befriended to unlock new skills, which takes time regardless of your approach.
