Nintendo
The Nintendo Switch 2 versions of both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be compatible with a new application called Zelda Notes, which has been widely discussed. This app introduces numerous new features such as navigation assistance, auto-build sharing, and more. Additionally, it allows players to repair their weapons within the game.
Nintendo has not provided much detail about this feature, merely stating on the Zelda Notes features page, “Test your luck once per day in Zelda Notes. Get hearts, meals, or other effects based on the result.” Popular Zelda YouTuber Zeltik has uploaded a video showcasing some of the app's features, including the potential bonuses players can receive through the Daily Bonus effect. One of these bonuses is "Equipment Repairs."
While there are a few methods to repair damaged items in Tears of the Kingdom, they do not always succeed. The new Zelda Notes trick provides an additional option for keeping your favorite weapon in excellent condition; however, it is a random bonus that can only be activated once every 24 hours. It is unlikely to disrupt gameplay balance, but rather serves as a pleasant bonus for players.

The Nintendo Switch 2 versions of both games are set to be released on June 5, alongside the Nintendo Switch 2, and the Zelda Notes feature is anticipated to debut on the same day. If you already possess the games, you can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version for $10 each. Alternatively, if you subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, both upgrades are included and do not require separate purchases.
Along with enhanced performance, the new versions will introduce a form of achievement tracking through the Zelda Notes feature. Players will be able to monitor how many shrines they’ve cleared, how many locations they’ve visited, and more, compared to both friends and on a global leaderboard. If you’ve been considering starting another playthrough, this summer seems like a fantastic opportunity to save Hyrule once again.

Nintendo's upcoming game focuses on mastering NES classics
Nintendo has unveiled Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, a new game set to release this July that challenges players' speedrunning abilities in NES classics like Super Mario Bros. and Metroid. Serving as a sort of successor to the NES Remix titles on Wii U and 3DS, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition takes its name from a gaming competition Nintendo organized back in 1990, which made a brief return in the 2010s. The reveal trailer showcases previous Nintendo World Championship contestants reflecting on the event, only to discover it’s returning in a new video game format.
How to acquire Wild Greens in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players may come across the Gloom-Borne Illness quest, which tasks them with locating Wild Greens. However, there is no actual item named "Wild Greens," making this quest particularly challenging to complete. This guide will highlight where to find Wild Greens in Tears of the Kingdom.
Finding Wild Greens
The key aspect to remember for this quest is that the required item is actually a Sundelion. The game intentionally remains vague, complicating the identification of the specific item needed. These items can be discovered in various regions throughout Hyrule, but the most reliable way to find them is by visiting a Sky Island located at these coordinates: -2,184, 0966, 1637.
The best horses in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
There are numerous ways to traverse the land of Hyrule in Breath of the Wild, but few are as well-rounded as horse riding. The game allows players to tame various wild horses and customize them by altering their saddles, bridles, and even their physical attributes. Add to that the opportunity to discover Malanya, the horse god, and there's a lot to explore with this earthy transportation method.
Nonetheless, not all horses are worth the effort of taming to add to your stable. Since horse taming consumes valuable time, it's essential to know which horses are the best in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to avoid spending your day pursuing a steed that isn’t significantly faster than Link.
