The RTX 5060 Ti from Nvidia might be 20% quicker than the RTX 4060 Ti.

      The anticipated RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card from Nvidia has recently re-emerged in leaked benchmark data, indicating a significant performance boost compared to its predecessor. As reported by VideoCardz, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB surpasses the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB by nearly 20% in synthetic benchmarks, while it lags behind the RTX 5070 by about 33%.

      The benchmark results primarily stem from 3DMark's array of tests, including SpeedWay, Steel Nomad, Port Royal, Fire Strike, and Time Spy, suggesting that the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB brings a generational improvement over the RTX 4060 Ti.

      According to the results, the card achieved a score of 4,055 in Speed Way, which is around 22.3% faster than the 4060 Ti's score of 3,239. In the Steel Nomad benchmark, it scored 3,455, approximately 16.3% higher than its predecessor's 2,932. The ray tracing capabilities in Port Royal were consistent with other tests, where the 5060 Ti scored 9,944 points, reflecting a 20.2% enhancement over the 4060 Ti’s score of 8,112.

      In terms of DirectX 12 workloads, Time Spy showed the 5060 Ti achieving 15,389 compared to 13,469 for the 4060 Ti, representing a 13.3% improvement. In the more intensive Time Spy Extreme, the upcoming card registered a score of 7,136, around 14.7% better than the 6,153 recorded by the 4060 Ti. Traditional rasterization tests also favored the 5060 Ti; Fire Strike showcased an increase to 40,925 from 34,295, an almost 17.6% jump. Meanwhile, in the more demanding Fire Strike Extreme, the 5060 Ti reached 19,556, exceeding the 4060 Ti’s score of 15,937 by approximately 20.3%. Finally, in Fire Strike Ultra, the card achieved 9,175, demonstrating a significant 22.8% improvement over the previous generation’s 7,294.

Both variants will utilize the GB206-300-A1 GPU, featuring 4,608 CUDA cores and GDDR7 memory on a 128-bit memory interface. With a total graphics power of 180W, the card is anticipated to come with a single 8-pin connector, although some models may incorporate the notorious 12V-2×6 power connector.
