Leaks about the design of the OnePlus 13T suggest it has strong similarities to the iPhone.
**OnePlus 13T Leak**
OnePlus was among the first to introduce its flagship smartphone at the start of the year, surpassing all competitors, including Samsung, with the OnePlus 13 series. The OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R became available worldwide on January 7, but there’s another device on the horizon: the OnePlus 13T.
The company has already confirmed the device’s upcoming release, and several leaks have surfaced regarding its specifications, including that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The most recent leaks reveal what the OnePlus 13T might look like, and the design appears quite familiar.
**What Will the OnePlus 13T Look Like?**
The device has been spotted multiple times on the Chinese social media platform Weibo across various accounts, all showcasing the same design, which adds to their credibility. In one video, the OnePlus 13T seems to be balanced on a finger and spun around.
It features flat edges, rounded corners, and a square camera module positioned in the top left corner, resembling the design of current iPhones. Additionally, there is a physical button on the left side, likely the Quick Key replacing the traditional alert slider, and the square camera area appears to house a triple rear camera setup.
In another post, leaker Digital Chat Station shared an image they claim is the OnePlus 13T. This design aligns with the leaked video and another Weibo post that provided a close-up of the camera housing, though this image is clearer. The post also mentions three color options: Cloud Ink Black, Morning Mist Gray, and Heartbeat Pink.
Currently, OnePlus has only confirmed that the OnePlus 13T will arrive “later this month” and hinted at the device’s extremely slim bezels by comparing it to the iPhone 16 Pro. If the leaked designs are accurate, this device may closely resemble the iPhone more than initially anticipated.
**OnePlus 13 Mini Expected to Feature Larger Battery than OnePlus 13**
According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 13 Mini (or 13T, depending on the naming convention) could have a larger battery than its flagship counterpart. The tip indicates that the OnePlus 13 Mini will incorporate a 6,200mAh battery compared to the 6,000mAh in the OnePlus 13. Considering the smaller size of the OnePlus 13 Mini, a larger battery capacity is quite impressive. Given that it will feature a 6.3-inch display instead of the 6.8-inch display of the OnePlus 13, its power requirements should significantly decrease.
**Oppo Smartwatch Might Pave the Way for the Smaller OnePlus Watch 3 We Desire**
One minor drawback of the splendid OnePlus Watch 3 is that it is offered in only one case size, but an upcoming Oppo smartwatch launch in China might change this scenario. The Oppo Watch X2 Mini is set for an official release on April 10 and is currently available for pre-order in China; it could serve as a model for a OnePlus Watch 3 Mini.
For context, Oppo and OnePlus formed a strategic partnership in 2021, allowing the two brands to share research, development, software, and even camera collaborations. While they produce distinct products, there are many similarities. The OnePlus Watch 3 has a counterpart in the Oppo Watch X2, and the two are nearly identical.
**I Tried the OnePlus Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch 7. Here’s the One to Choose**
If you’re in search of a smartwatch for your Android phone, there are two outstanding options currently available: the OnePlus Watch 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. In my review, I named the OnePlus Watch 3 the top smartwatch for Android users, but I also encouraged consideration of the Galaxy Watch 7. To determine which would be the better purchase, I decided to compare them directly.
