NYT Strands for today: clues, spangram, and solutions for Thursday, April 10.
Strands is a new daily puzzle created by the New York Times. It's a more challenging version of the traditional word search, requiring a sharp eye to solve. Similar to Wordle, Connections, and the Mini Crossword, Strands can sometimes present difficulty. It’s perfectly fine to seek assistance when needed. If you're having trouble and need the answers for today's Strands puzzle, check out the solution provided below.
**How to Play Strands**
In each Strands puzzle, your objective is to locate the "theme words" concealed within the letter grid. You can manipulate the letters by dragging or tapping to form words; confirm the last letter by double-tapping. When you identify a correct word, the letters will turn blue and become unselectable.
If you find a non-theme word, it is still beneficial! For every three non-theme words that are at least four letters long, you will receive a hint—a portion of one theme word will be revealed for you to unscramble.
Every letter in the grid is utilized to create the theme words, with no overlaps. Each letter is used exactly once.
Within each puzzle is one "spangram," a significant theme word (or words) that define the puzzle's theme and stretches across two opposing sides of the board. When you discover the spangram, it will be highlighted in yellow.
The aim is to finish the puzzle quickly while minimizing the hints used.
