In the thrilling trailer for Havoc, Tom Hardy delves into the criminal underworld in Gareth Evans’ latest action film.
Hardy portrays Walker, a seasoned detective who probes a heinous massacre in Chinatown believed to stem from a drug deal gone awry. He discovers that the main suspect is Charlie (Justin Cornwell), the estranged son of Mayor Lawrence Beaumont (Forest Whitaker). The mayor demands Walker retrieve Charlie or he will unveil the cop's misdeeds. “You won’t get out of this city alive without my assistance,” Walker warns Charlie as they devise their escape.
As Walker safeguards Charlie, he unwittingly accrues numerous adversaries: a corrupt politician, a crime syndicate, and fellow officers. For Walker, violence becomes the sole solution, and the explosive trailer showcases several gruesome and intense action scenes.
Havoc also features Jessie Mei Li, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Yeo Yann Yann, and Timothy Olyphant.
Gareth Evans is both the writer and director of Havoc, which began production in July 2021. Although filming wrapped up in October 2021, reshoots were delayed until July 2024 due to the Hollywood strikes. Evans co-produces with Hardy, Ed Talfan, and Aram Tertzakian.
Evans is regarded as a leading action director. His notable Indonesian thrillers — Merantau (2009), The Raid (2011), and The Raid 2 (2014) — are often recognized as some of the finest action films of the past two decades. Havoc marks Evan's first directorial feature since the 2018 film Apostle.
Havoc is set to premiere on Netflix on April 25, 2025.

In order to survive, humanity must ally with robots to confront a true adversary in the trailer for The Electric State. Millie Bobby Brown plays Michelle, a teenager embarking on a quest across a retrofuturistic United States to locate her missing brother (Woody Norman). Accompanying her on this journey is her yellow robot, Cosmo (Alan Tudyk), and a drifter named Keats (Chris Pratt). Following a failed rebellion, robots were cast out to a desolate 200-square-mile area known as the "Electric State." Michelle believes answers lie within this forbidden territory, and that robots may reveal her brother's whereabouts.
The Electric State's cast features Ke Huy Quan as Dr. Amherst, Stanley Tucci as Ethan Skate, Jason Alexander as Ted Finnster, Giancarlo Esposito as Colonel Bradbury, Anthony Mackie as Herman, Woody Harrelson as Mr. Peanut, Brian Cox as Pop Fly, Jenny Slate as Penny Pal, and Hank Azaria as Perplexo.
The Russo Brothers directed The Electric State from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film is adapted from Simon Stålenhag's sci-fi novel of the same name. The Russos have not helmed a feature film since 2022's The Gray Man, the action thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, which is currently the seventh most popular film on Netflix.

Rather than waiting for rescue, Sutton takes matters into her own hands and fights back in this thrilling narrative. "I'm going to get you out of here," she assures her children in the trailer.
