Fujifilm has introduced the newest member of the Instax instant-print camera family.

The Instax Mini 41 updates the four-year-old Instax Mini 40, featuring a more stylish design and enhanced functionalities to help you maximize the use of every sheet of photographic paper loaded in the back.

For user convenience, the Instax Mini 41 provides automatic exposure, eliminating the need to adjust settings manually. Simply press the shutter button and allow the camera to automatically determine the appropriate shutter speed and flash based on the surrounding light.

Additionally, it includes a new close-up mode that corrects for parallax, making it easier to center your shots—ideal for capturing selfies.

Fujifilm has designed the Instax Mini 41 with a comfortable grip, allowing you to hold it securely in one hand, especially handy if your other hand is occupied.

“The Mini 41 is ideal for those who appreciate both style and functionality,” states Bing Liem, president of Fujifilm North America's imaging division. “It takes all the features our fans loved about the Mini 40 and enhances them with modern design and upgraded capabilities. It’s compact, simple to operate, and has a stylish look that ensures it stands out in any setting.”

The Instax Mini 41 is expected to hit store shelves by the end of this month. Pricing details are not yet available, but as a reference, the previous model sells for approximately $100, and the mini instant film is about $15 for 20 exposures.

Cameras like the Mini 41 primarily target creative individuals and photography enthusiasts who enjoy the excitement of instant physical photos and wish to capture special moments spontaneously.

Fujifilm originally launched its Instax series in 1998, and while the sales of various models saw a steady rise in the initial four years, the introduction of digital cameras and smartphones led to a decline. Losing interest in the product, the Japanese company shifted its focus to its successful high-end X-series line of cameras.

However, the Instax line was far from over. By around 2012, recognizing a resurgence of interest in analog technology, Fujifilm revitalized the range, leading to increased sales once again.
