The PC games featuring the most impressive graphics
Jacob Roach / Digital Trends
There’s no denying that the graphics on the top PS5 and Xbox Series X titles are striking. The Switch also boasts a few visually impressive games, despite being significantly less powerful than its rivals. However, nothing compares to the capabilities of a high-end PC. While many of the best PC games are also accessible on consoles, the advantage of playing them on our rigs lies in the ability to elevate both frame rates and visuals beyond what consoles can provide. Frame rates are certainly crucial, but when it comes to showcasing your games or simply enjoying the ultra-realistic environments at the highest fidelity, there are certain titles worth pushing to their limits. From open-world adventures and RPGs to horror experiences and simulators, these are the PC games featuring the finest graphics to demonstrate your rig’s capabilities. The most recent games will inevitably surpass older ones, so keep an eye out for major upcoming PC releases to identify the next graphical titan.

The toughest levels in video game history
Some video games can be challenging as a whole, while others may have difficult bosses; however, there are instances where only one level significantly increases the difficulty to unrealistic heights. It’s common for a game to become tougher as players progress, but sometimes that difficulty curve isn’t as gradual as it should be. In some cases, the gameplay mechanics alter drastically for a particular level. Regardless of the reasoning, several levels have proven to be excessively challenging through the years. Even when these levels are technically fair, they still require an extraordinary degree of skill from players to remain enjoyable. Here are the most challenging levels in video game history that we hope to never face again.
Alien "Auto"topsy part 3
It’s unfortunate to include a level from a game as remarkable as The Simpsons Hit & Run on this list, but the final stage includes all the elements of a frustrating experience. The objective here is to gather barrels of nuclear waste and transport them to the UFO to destroy it. You’re driving a fast but unresponsive car, and any collision while carrying a barrel results in an explosion, forcing you to restart. And let’s add a timer to the mix! This level imposes time constraints on everything, increasing pressure that makes crashing even more likely. If you’re not familiar with the optimal routes to take and don’t get lucky with traffic and vehicle control, it becomes nearly impossible. This final level is the primary reason many players have never completed this otherwise fantastic game.

The best Monster Hunter Wilds mods
Monster Hunter Wilds offers more content at launch than any previous installment. With an abundance of weapons, armor upgrades, and, of course, monsters to hunt, new players will require several hours to grasp all the nuances. Experienced hunters, however, can quickly progress through the campaign and into the High Ranks. Eventually, players may encounter some rough areas or elements of the game ripe for enhancement, or simply seek some entertaining additions. Modders create a nearly infinite array of options to refine, augment, and improve the core experience. With such a popular game, hundreds of mods are available. Here are the best Monster Hunter Wilds mods to explore.
Shop Tweaks
Most players likely never visit the item shop in Monster Hunter Wilds. For those who do, the limited selection is frustratingly sparse. Shop Tweaks is a straightforward mod that offers three options to significantly expand the stock available for purchase, including everything, consumables, or materials. Excluded from this are tools, certain gatherables that yield points, and gems. While this doesn’t make all these items free, you’ll still need money, making preparation for hunts considerably easier.
