How to Use the Wishlist in Monster Hunter Wilds

The main cycle of Monster Hunter Wilds remains consistent with prior titles: hunting monsters, collecting materials, and forging or upgrading gear. This cycle is repeated many times throughout your journey as you take on increasingly challenging beasts alongside friends. In earlier games, you had to remember or jot down what materials you were missing for your next upgrade, but that's no longer necessary. The new wishlist feature, which the game doesn't effectively explain, is here to help. Here are key tips for utilizing the wishlist in Monster Hunter Wilds.

      How to Use the Wishlist

To access the wishlist, start by speaking to Gemma at the forge. Choose to browse the new armor or weapons and locate the item you want next but don’t have all the materials for. From there, press the Sub Menu button to open a hidden list of options, allowing you to add the item to your wishlist.

Simogo has also incorporated haptic feedback through the DualSense controller; however, in my experience, this feature felt somewhat lackluster. While there are a few vibrations that sync with the music, they don't fully utilize the more advanced adaptive triggers of the DualSense.
