Today, Bloober Team, the Polish developers behind the Silent Hill 2 remake, revealed that they are still collaborating with Konami on a new project, although they did not provide any clues about what that project entails. Piotr Babieno, the CEO of Bloober Team, stated, “Our partnership with KONAMI has proven to be immensely productive, and the success of SILENT HILL 2 is a testament to that. By exchanging knowledge and expertise, we have created high-quality productions together. While we can’t share many details right now, we believe fans will be just as thrilled about our collaboration as we are. We are eager to share something truly special with players when the moment is right.”
Neither Konami nor Bloober Team provided details regarding this new game, but it is almost certainly related to the Silent Hill franchise in some capacity. Bloober Team is primarily known as a horror game developer, with titles like Blair Witch, The Medium, Observer, and others under their belt.
Given Silent Hill is one of Konami's most recognized franchises, it’s improbable that Bloober Team would engage with the company for a different project. There has been a long-standing demand from fans for a remaster of the original game, but considering Bloober Team’s history, it would be intriguing to see what they could achieve with a completely new installment in the series.
While we have limited information, we do know that Konami will be both publishing the game and retaining its rights, and it will be based on Konami’s intellectual property. It is unlikely to be a completely original IP, although a horror-themed Dance Dance Revolution could be intriguing.

Silent Hill 2 remake players have recently uncovered a significant secret.
One of the most puzzling elements in the Silent Hill 2 remake is the collection of Polaroid photos scattered throughout the game. These photos are abstract, often showing blurry close-ups of items like flowers, footprints, dirty walls, and other difficult-to-identify objects. While they serve as collectibles, the game does not explain their purpose. However, a Reddit user seems to have deciphered the mystery. Not only do these photos convey a hidden message, but they also appear to validate a long-standing fan theory regarding the essence of Silent Hill and the journey of the protagonist, James Sunderland.
A post on the Silent Hill subreddit by user DaleRobinson explains the code concealed within each photo. If you examine the numbers on the back of each photo and arrange them in numerical order, a pattern emerges. Each photo contains up to six subjects. By counting the letters corresponding to the number of objects and recording a letter, you can go through all 26 letters to spell out a message: "You've been here for two decades."

Although Assassin's Creed Shadows may have been postponed until next year, November is busy with new game releases. We're expecting sequels to exciting titles like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and The Case of the Golden Idol, alongside new entries in series such as Mario & Luigi, Horizon, and Microsoft Flight Simulator. With so many games launching each week, it can be overwhelming to keep track. To assist, I’m starting the month by highlighting seven upcoming video games that are worth watching. Picking these up should enhance your game library as the holiday season of 2024 approaches.

Valve finally resolved a Team Fortress 2 bug 17 years post-launch.
While it may not be a major performance enhancement, Valve implemented a significant change in the latest update for Team Fortress 2: ensuring that Scout wears the correct pants.
Hidden within the latest update's patch notes, released on Thursday, is a point that states, "Fixed BLU Scout using the incorrect team color pants." Although this might not seem substantial, Scout on the BLU team has been donned in the wrong pants for 17 years.
